Thanks bro! If you get that bike, I have a friend in California who has a pile of 1995 CR 250 parts from a project he abandoned. There will be much more Tony and I on film soon.

Great video Charles always new things to learn. I already know how to do a lot of this stuff, but I definitely pick up on some of the small things that make the job easier to do. I like Tonys tips and tricks he knows what he is doing. Thanks again Charles.

Best part of a Saturday morning is watching this build series go down.. super sick build after this video going to be entering in for a chance to win this bike
Your vids are amazing. Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of this journey and sharing your and others experience and wisdom. I'm currently working on restoring a Honda XR400R and your vids have been a great help and inspiration for me so far. Zink plating bolts, removing a stuck swing arm bolt and removing bearings in particular. Cheers from Germany
Great way to do wheel bearings !! especially if you have seal driver kit already. Piece of threaded rod threw hub put your bearings on each side then flat piece of the driver on each side then washer and nut . Once your comfortable use an impact gun to tighten but a rachet obviously works ! this is easier keeping things straight, more so than getting it started with hammer and driver. Also works with many other bearing needed to be pressed into there home.
Charles, you are quite a talent dude. This bike is special! And thank you for the shirt, and handwritten note! No one does that anymore. It’s much appreciated!!
Hey thanks Arden, that is quite kind of you. And my pleasure on the shirt, you earned it after all! Perfect opportunity to connect with you a bit more in my opinion.
Dude Charles this thing is looking so sweet. Message to win months ago .I am keeping my fingers crossed and and praying I might add this to my collection. Don't even know if my middle-aged ass can handle the power but would definitely try LOL
When I recently received an email from Charles telling me I had won a De Cal Works T-shirt I never thought he’d be good enough to post it out to the UK as this would probably cost a small fortune! Well earlier this week my prize arrived all the way from the US with a hand written note to thank me for the support of this awesome channel (thanks Charles, much appreciated). If we don’t support the channels we love they will die, so do yourself a favour and like these vids and sub to the channel. Let keep supporting mXrevival and the great work this channel is doing!
STOKED to send a shirt over the pond, Paul! Life is short, gotta do it! Also, great advice on supporting your favorite channels. No matter how much I scratch or claw to climb and build, it will always come down to you guys. The content needs to be solid, sure… the rest is up to all of my amazing people here.
That's amazing. Those black/dark blue hub/rim combos really make it perfect. Kudos to you and how far you'll go in the pursuit of perfection. I recently visited BRC Racing to get a TSP kit and reflash for my bike, was speaking with Riley about you and your build. He said he and the guys at BRC are following your build and are digging it!

I finally got to finish watching this episode. So much great information on the cerikote and wheel building. Bike looks so sick . Oh and the forks look amazing as well
I’m blown away with this build Charles! 🤯 I have to say though, my OCD kicked in and I think the YZ 500 logo on the rear hub should be facing the back of the bike so you can read it 🤓
I thanks buddy! I feel it on the OCD 😂 basically runs my life. There’s always that ONE thing on every bike that’s slips. With so much focus on everything the bike needs, down to making sure things are perfect like the stupid peg pen washers we can no longer buy, and everyone coming in on time which we almost didn’t make- and are also two weeks late, or fixing things that didn’t come back quite right… that thing would be the rear hub this time 😂 (the hub logo was a blessing in comparison to something else that had to get fixed last minute, omg) So, I see your OCD and raise you by saying that we also should’ve thrown two of logos on these hubs!!!! Man it was super fun, stressful, and chaotic at the end. Tomorrow is the big reveal video. I hope you enjoy it & I hope you’ve been kicking ass!

Awesome build, awesome parts, Awesome YZ500 so much work has gone into this bike but the radiator fins, if I had this bike I would have to replace them or try and straighten the fins to match the rest of the bike. I rebuilt my 2001 YZ250 to look brand new and spent hours straightening the fins lol. But I still wish this bike was mine good work.
I’ve got my priorities straight! And they would be YOU! Thanks for noticing, and for watching. I also appreciate you entering the contest. I am severely behind on my ”Thank You” emails.
Love the in depth cerakote & wheel dishing details👌🏻 What temp did he heat those hubs to on the hot plate ? I learned the hard way some Cerakote coatings have a low color stability temperature (350f on Elite series navy blue) where the color can shift or change while the coating it self still protects the metal which is a diff rating. Elite series navy blue turned evergreen almost black at 350. Had to strip the hub and re-coat. Was so upset w myself. Learn something new everyday! I’ll try 300f next time or just press them in without heat. I now check that color stability rating temp when I choose coatings now!

Hammerhead great looking product for the most partt great shifter! I love the fact that they make options for length of tip and what not! BUT PLEASE Someone tell hammer head they make the gap on the shifter bolt to SMALL I've owned quite a few and every one I have to tighten it every other ride if not every ride. Not long after I have to take it off and run a hacksaw or a Saws all threw it so it can tighten it enough so it isn't loose. I don't have this issue with stock shifter. tighten it once after stuff breaks in and only touch it if it takes a hard hit. If you forget to check the hammer head ,you can find yourself with a shifter slipping on the splines!
