- Aquatic Wildlife Art? Fly fishing Art? What would you call this? This is my artwork inspired by my real life events in the outdoors. Fly Fishing in Miami for Biscayne Bay's elusive Bonefish! In this video, I show you start to finish how I draw marine life, a Bone fish to be exact. I use Prismacolor markers, roller ball & Gel Pen's as well as a paint marker to complete the work of art. True Mixed Media on my Caslon Mixed Media sketchbook!

🌴 Hey Eric , just got notified, so really glad ya did this vid, it’s crazy that you got the outlines of these fish embedded in your mind , I’d been bust‘n out an eraser the size of a house brick trying to get lines were I want em , have you ever tried using the metallic markers to get a shiny effect on any of you fish art or to highlight them , have been doing any bone fishing since that vid you showed, ? 🤔
I had released a bonefish video shortly after this one, where I hopped on a friends skiff and caught a bone immediately in the morning. I haven't chased bonefish since.
I haven't used metallic markers, but I do use metallic paints when I do canvas paintings for that exact thing. On certain highlights and such so when the light hits it comes to life.
