The political system in Tibet before the liberation was a secular slave system, 90% of the people were serfs, and these serfs were, in today's words, inhuman, hell. When the communist army attacked Lhasa, the slave masters could not walk on their feet, and the slaves carried the slave masters on their backs every day, because these slaves were the slave masters' feet and could no longer walk. Mao liberated Tibet and overthrew slavery, millions of serfs were liberated and they became real people, no longer slaves. So much so that most Tibetan families now have portraits of Mao hanging in their homes, because to these former serfs, Mao was their savior, their bodhisattva. Why the Dalai Lama fled to India and there are still forces trying to split Tibet, because before Mao Zedong liberated Tibet, they were the religious leaders, they were the biggest slave masters, they were just crazy to defend the old slavery society, and the communists overthrew the slavery, and of course they hated the communists the most. Having said that you should understand that there are only two kinds of people who try to split China, one is the anti-China forces in the west, the other is the former slave masters and their descendants, because the current Tibet natives are the descendants of the former serfs, and they are most thankful to the Communist Party of China for liberating them.

Excellent job Sikyong la! As your tenure matures year by year you represent your genuine qualities of endurance, resilience and spirit grounded in pure motivation and faith in the Dharma and His Holiness the Dalai Lama. In our tradition of Tibetanness those principles play a huge factor for anyone in the public service. Devoid of these a political leader is utterly nonsense. Please accept my sincere appreciation! 🙏

WONDERFUL! interview... So amazing that Media started sharing and listening for truth. This means we are becoming ethical unlike moral less Communist Party of China which had been transforming to become human party, but some hardliners who are selfish are making them and their race narrow minded. Hence, CCP won't last long and they would make everything non-sustainable. Hope they will become human with brain. BEING HUMAN is essential.

I am a Tibetan from Tibet, China. I grew up in Tibet. I have some thoughts and feelings about this video and the Tibet issue.
    1. Tibet has been a part of China since ancient times. This is an indisputable fact. In 1309, Tibet was officially included in the territory of the Yuan Dynasty. After the fall of the Yuan Dynasty, it was taken over by the Ming Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty.
    2. Your beloved America was colonized by Europeans in the 16th century. They killed and plundered the means of production and lives of local Indians. The founding of the United States was built on the bodies of Indians. The so-called freedom and democracy of the United States is just a slogan for introducing talents. It attracts talents all over the world. The most obvious one is India. All Indians with higher education go to the United States, while India is backward, dirty, corrupt, and has unequal caste systems. If these highly educated Indians stay in their own country and build, India can develop better. This is the conspiracy behind the so-called freedom and democracy of the United States.
    3. The Tibetan government in exile. Fleeing from Tibet after the 1959 riots. Please note that I am talking about fleeing. The Dalai Lama claims that he cares about the Tibetan people. I would like to ask you, would a person who cares about his hometown and people abandon his people and run away? If the Tibetan people were living in dire straits after 1959, how would you help the Tibetan people? With words? Fortunately, the Tibetan people are living happily now.
    4. About freedom, democracy and independence for Tibet. This is your slogan. What you hope to achieve is your hypocritical mask. What you want is to return to Tibet, become a ruler, enjoy the rights and money that a ruler should enjoy, and then let the people live in dire straits. Now the Tibetan people have stood up and no longer have to suffer oppression and slavery.
    5. The current situation in Tibet. Let me talk about you first. The state with the largest number of Tibetans in India is Karnataka. In 2022, Karnataka's per capita nominal GDP was $3,925. Sikkim was annexed by India in 1975. In 2022, it was the state with the highest per capita GDP in India, with a per capita nominal GDP of $7,266. Then let me take a look at Tibet. Tibet's per capita nominal GDP in 2022 was $8,696. The average life expectancy in Tibet was 35.5 years in 1960, and now it is 70.6 years.
As a Tibetan, I will never allow anyone to destroy the peace and stability of Tibet, and I will not allow anyone to destroy our motherland. China has 56 ethnic groups, and all ethnic groups live happily in this big family. We are very satisfied with our current life. Please don't try to disrupt our lives. If you really want the Tibetan people to live happily, then please bless us, but don't try to destroy our hard-earned happiness. Tashi Delek
