Well madam you now have 2 subscribers. A little off topic but :- My parents lived in Wolverhampton U.K. during the war. Prisoners of war were put to repairing the roads guarded by a soldiers. It was a very cold winter in 1940. My mom and dad had some gallon tins of rather dated tomato soup and as these prisoners worked for 8 hours with nothing but a sandwich and a cup of tea they had them in one at a time to eat the soup and some bread. One was a die hard Nazi and after a while with his 'when Germany wins the war' the soldier said "Shall I take him outside and shoot him ?". A joke of course (?). One prisoner was Italian and offered to make a ring from a shilling coin if they gave him 2. He cannot have had many tools so how he made the ring I was never told. 80 years on and I still have that ring. I don't know if you still get 'hung, drawn and quartered' for defacing a coin of the realm - probably not. I look forward to seeing how you make a coin ring. Take care.
