DYI Face Mask - elastic ear loops or cording?
Просмотров 3,9 тыс.4 года назад
I've had several request to post how I make face mask. After a lot of research and making a few samples I determined that the ear loops were the problem. They were not uniform to everyones size head and I fear elastic may become unavailable. I determined the OLD style ties will eliminate that issue. I make no claims that these mask will prevent any type of virus. They might hinder an infected p...

thank you for taking the time to make this video - you did an awesome job!
Stupid..... Vertical vid.?
I wish the over-bed bunk will drop.
Just bought the 23A, glad I got an RV inspection cuz they caught a leaking water pump and severs gaps in leaks and other items. For the price it’s worth it and look forward to starting my RV Journey in a few days.
Have you posted any videos?
Not yet, I do plan on doing something…..a little different with my videos.
Thank you
Great video!! I’m looking at this unit & the 24’ from CA! I definitely want a seamless purchase on a very well maintained unit & I have yet to see anyone say anything bad about these! I need to borrow you & your husband to make the changes I want! Y’all are quite the team & extremely handy!! Thank you for making this! ❤
I really like the picture framing, great for me since I'm a cyclops.
I really enjoyed your helpful hints and practical perspective. I've been considering purchasing this 19 foot motor home..
Outstanding presentation!!! I watched your video for my very first time and enjoyed it and learned a bit as well. Keep up the good work looking forward to some more of your videos in the future.😊 B.R.
This was one of the best!🎉 Thank you for the great ideas that you put into real life! Your Husband is handy and you are very fortunate to have him! That protection improving your water line from freezing is a game changer! Also the battery generator & solar is brilliant.
Tlhanks for the sweet comment. Glad your found it informative.
never used one but l am pretty sure if you extended the arm on the bender, it would give you more leverage and make it easier on you....
Helpful video, thanks. What kind of mpg do you get?
I found your video while looking at the CA Majestic 19. Thank you for posting this. It is very helpful. Question for you. What are the dimensions of the dinette bed? I'm particularly curious about the length. I'm tall (6'3") and would prefer to not crawl into the bunk with my wife up there. The dinette would be where I would probably need to sleep but I really worry it will be far too short for me.
My husband is 6 foot and it is a tight fit for him. He is more comfortable in the bunk and I slept on the dinette. We recently sold the unit as we were traveling more and wanted something bigger. I solo traveled in it for a couple of years but found it was not comfortable for the two of us. We've upgraded to a class A and are much happier.
Nice work girl
Where can I get your kit
How tall are you? Im curious if the dinette bed will be long enough. Im only 5'6", but cant climb up to the top bunk. Thats my cats area. Lol
I’m 5 foot five and my husband is 6 foot. While I rested pretty comfortably. My husband was a tight fit for him. We did put a 2 inch foam mattress on it and basically left it made into a couch during the day.
@@cajunsuggies132 thank you! Can 2 people sleep in it at the same time?
For us no….. too cramped, one slept in bunk the other in the dinette
@@cajunsuggies132 TYSM! So glad I found your vid.
Great video, I'm starting to look for a small RV myself, and I found the 19 g at cruise america. I live on the east coast in Northern New hampshire, so it's a bit of a travel to look at one. So I'm so happy to find videos like yours that give me a tour of the unit.
Glad you found it helpful. It ‘s been perfect for my needs. My husband started traveling with me so we have bought a 37 ft class A. I still have the 19g but I do need to sell it . Bittersweet
@@cajunsuggies132have you sold it yet? My daughter and I are looking and will be purchasing one of these very soon.
I’m 87 and not sure how to discuss this with you privately.
You should buy a bench shear because it gives a 90% straight cut with out bending the edge of whatever metal you cut , unlike the bolt cutter which is clumsy to use and bends the edge of metals that is cut ,after using a bench shear you wont want to use a bolt cutter again 👍
30:32 I'm seriously considering this rig, especially after your excellent video. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Catherine 😊😊😊
Thanks for all the info
Can I put magnets on mine
What a sweetheart you are dear.. Very interesting information.. Thank you!
Great video and information. If it wasn’t for my 2 cats this size unit would be perfect for me. Kudos to you and you inspire me to go out on my solo adventure soon.
Glad you enjoyed it.
❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
thank you so much, it helped me tremedously!!!
This was so fun to watch. I have the same rig, also bought from Dave in Mesa. I’ve already put the drawers in place of the jump seat on my husband’s to do list. Also love the curtain closing off the back of the rv. I changed that sucky thermostat for a cheap digital one off Amazon. Real easy to install. My son installed inverter and the equipment for portable solar panels. I want to replace the frosted kitchen window with clear and put a fan where the kitchen vent is. I’ve had my rv 4 years and had no problems. Love it. Wintering in AZ right now.
That was very helpful. Thank you for sharing. I've been thinking about buying o e myself. Maybe a little bit longer rv than what you bought. However, yours is preferably for a single person.
Wow. That was great. Thanks. I was just looking at cruise America sales today 😂
Cruise America should sponsor your channel, this was a very informative video!
Thank you!
Very well done!!! A huge thank you. Can you provide any info towards purchasing this unit from Cruise America in regards to the price? Muchly appreciated!!!!
Well if your interested my unit with all of it’s upgrades is up for sale. My husband started traveling with me and we have decided to go part/time fulltime and had the opportunity to purchase from a local couple a once in a lifetime class A couchman.

I’m tempted to keep the 19g for my short work trips but would still sell it. I had checked the Cruise America site and actually talked to the gentleman that sold us our unit and the price we are asking is lower than the exact same unit with same mileage. So check out my Market Place listing. Keep in mind it still has the extended warranty in place and is transferable.
Thanks for good info
Love it, thanks for teaching US so much.
Are the black water tank and grey tank the same tank? I did a toilet flush and all was good. Did it again and put a treatment in and intended to leave it for the day. Then I wanted to clean the grey water tank because I noticed that the water drains slowly so I figured it had hair and gunk from dishes in there. I poured some dawn in there and added some warm water from the shower. I went outside and it was leaking in about three different places! I crawled under and it looked like water was coming out around the black water tank flaps that bolt to the floor of the RV. I emptied everything and the drip continued for a while and eventually stopped. I waited for things to calm down then filled the black tank back up like before and let it sit. There was no leaking. Neighbors think it's either my grey water tank or there is an overflow system in place.Any insight is appreciated!
The black tank and grey tanks are totally seperated. If you have a leak it's most likely to be from a bad fitting or crack in the drain line itself. Gray tank overflow shows up on the shower floor filling up with grey water. Hope this helps.
Great video, I’d say do an actual camping video. This was great though! Keep making videos about the camper.
This really a good detailed video..
Does the jump seat unbolt from the top or do you have to climb under the motorhome?
At 77 I’m not sure I could climb into the overhead bunk!
Wow, thank you that was a great video very informative!!!
Great info. Thank you
😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
You need to heat the metal, once it gets stiff...quench it it water to cool it, then continue working it. It's called annealing. You need to watch more videos before you try this.
I just bought a 2010 model 19G. It has the fiberglass bed above the cab. No seams to leak and larger space. However, it is a Canadian model and I was told they ordered them with no generator. I will be purchasing a new 5,500 watt ONAN and have it installed. Do you have to have the leveling jacks? Did you have to buy those, or did the motorhome come with them?
It’s been 2 years and I’m wondering how it stood up? It sure does look nice, and I’m like you, I don’t like painting wood, so this is a no nonsense process. But I do wonder how you like it now, and did it last? I can’t believe how it really looks like wood with the texture and all. Thanks
The door is used every day and it looks just like it did when I finished it 2 years ago. Happy with the decision to cover it.
Thank you 🙏
Very helpful. Thanks.
A lot of good ideas! TFS
Thanks for the video. I've been thinking about a 19 foot RV like yours and this is the first video I found with so much detail, like showing the water tank and power unit under the dinette benches.
What a superb overview👍👏Enough details to lead me to look for a cruiseamerica 19A as the choice moving forward into full time “nomading”. Many thanks Paul Wilson
Thank you for the very informative video, this is just what I have been looking for. I am considering buying a motorhome from CA and am researching how happy consumers are with their purchase. I am reading more positive feedback about their purchases then negative, even with the high mileage on these motorhomes. It has been a year since this video, I wonder how the Majestic is holding up. Anyone else purchase a Majestic?
