Hello Jose, thank you for video, this is very interesting and motivating video for me. 👍 This is good start and visualisation for practical woodworking. You have mentioned just shortly the second step: Finally I would like to have some cutting drawing of every part with dimmensioning.. According your experience, what would be the best solution? So model has to have individual parts (not grouping objects), export these parts to another file, or create copy of this file to new one and then disassembly and display dimensions? All design and construction I would like to make in pc, then print it and start cutting, drilling. Also I would like to know, how many wood I will need. I know, this can not be (yet) ☺️ automatically generated, but I could be satisfied, if I could disassembly the final model and prepare construction sheet - cutting, drilling - and avoid this way some basic faults, which save wood (money).. 😉. Also I do not know, how to change parameters afterwards, ok, this is not parametrical CAD, but you saw it is possible to do some snapshots, etc. This is possible some basics, which I can found on some initial videos.. Thank you.
Are you able to demonstrate how 2D Autocad drawing is imported into Plasticity and used as a base to generate a 3d model, say, of an interior or a building?
Unfortunately, up until now, there's no way of importing Autocad 2D Drawings as something other than an image. But I'll keep you posted in case they add this feature!
It’s complicated! Because trees and flowers often need more organic shapes and even sculpting, but if you want to give it a try, I would go for some geometric exploration.
