A fuel injector tool is still made for pulling out injectors you can buy, making this job easy. Or if you see a picture of the tool online, one can easily be made with a piece of sheet metal. These o rings tend to get hard and need replacing every few years, so a must to have this tool in your tool box.
Would you please show us how to install them back on. I changed seals could not get them push in. Eventually kind of push in but 3 new seals damaged.....
Apparently you use a can of Berryman b12 cleaner which has enough pressure to blast through and clean the injector and restore a more normal spray pattern. I have not done it myself but have seen posts on VWVortex about the process.

The larger o ring can be soaked in gasoline for a few seconds. This lubricants the o ring so it can be slide over the injector into place.

how would i go about actually cleaning them out? would carb cleaner can pressure sufffice?
