This game was my childhood! I used to play it a bunch with my cousin. To the Microsoft store I go
I played this one on PS2, it was good for being tied in to a movie.

This was THE Star Wars action game of choice until The Force Unleashed on the 360.
You said something I had never considered before, not sure now if it was this video or the Podracer video you said it in, but that Xbox was like the home of Star Wars. As someone who was also a lifelong Star Wars (and sci-fi in general) fan Xbox felt like home. Between all of the Star Wars, and Halo. Then getting me on the fantasy side with Fable and Morrowind. I just never understood my friends who went Sony during the PS2/3 era lol. Xbox was just always an obvious choice for me.

The gameplay is almost similar to the tie-in of the lord of the rings games (the two towers and return of the king) with this rpg-style of ratings (fair, good, excellent, etc ...).And If you liked this game, you're gonna love those ones, especially if you're a lord of the rings fan.
The multiplayer fighting mode is insanaly well-crafted, it's like another game of its own incorpored into it. They should release a similar fighting lighsaber kind of game someday ^^
By the way, I know that's nothing to do with this game and I know that I've already given you some advice about the "mafia" xbox port about the semi-automatic targeting (with L2/R2 that I don't know the equivalence for the xbox) but be aware that the game mechanics are very realistic (especially for the time) and when you reload your handguns, revolvers or tommyguns : you lost the bullets that was in your magazines (a very rare feature even nowadays).
But the animation for reloading is taking time and it's very dangerous during the gunfights that are purposely very hard but I found a tip to reload your weapon and cancel the animation at the same time : When you reload, do a roll (to right or left, whatever). I hope those tips will help you when you'll review the game :)
Thank you for the Mafia tips, I'm excited to get to that game at some point. I believe the Xbox exclusive Breakdown also has the same ammo feature. Its wild that we don't see that more often in games.
Just to let you know a lot of my original Xbox games are boxed up as of right now, but I plan on getting everything out of boxes soon and hopefully get a Mafia review out eventually :)

This version was much better than the ps2 just feels like it hasnt got as much input lag i find with the ps2 version plus vidually much nicer looking.
Shame this never came to GameCube :(
