Time by Pink Floyd is a song about living life to the fullest. Roger Waters got the idea when he realized that he was no longer preparing for his life, he was actually living it. Meaning he was "grown-up" or an adult. This feeling came over him when he was 28 or 29 according to articles I read. That seems a few years older than that feeling came over me. Anyway, Frank killed the vocals and John played an outstanding lead on my awesome 1997 Bourgeois Country Boy (Ricky Skaggs Signature Model). I played rhythm on my sweet 1994 Gibson Hummingbird. We hope you enjoy our version of this great song.
I need to add that it was not practical for us to try and replicate all of the clocks or the drum solo at the beginning of the song. I will say that all of the clocks on the recording were recorded one at a time in an English Antique Store. You can use that for some good trivia if you like.
