that question hit me. cause back in my time i use to smack up dudes for my boys. noone would even dare talk bad about any of my homies infront of me or behind my back cause ill slap the s*** out of them. to then have all my boys give me their back when i most needed it. that s*** hurts.
bro i done put my life in danger for these fools. dudes in the hood tryna kill me for all the mf’s i done slapped or punched. yea some show mad love whenever i go to the hood. but some also hate and dont like me cause of all the past s*** i did. my bro i ran a strip and had all my boys caking it up. i was the reason why everybody was eating. everybody half and half. nobody gets a bigger cut. were all 1. and after some years i ended up breaking up with the girl i had 8 years with cause i caught her cheating. and i fell into a big depression. i f’d up my money, my work, my buisness. all cause i was so depressed all i wanted to do was smoke as much bud as i can. i was bad. and when i finally got out the depression my so called right hand man took over the block. i passed it down to him. well i needed work to get back on my feet and start running the strip again. and my right hand man turned his back on me. i asked for work to flip and he never gave it to me. so i ended up kicking him off the block and had to get back on my feet on my own.
he felt like i was wrong for kicking him off the block. hell na. i started that s***. im the 1 who built that s*** up. on top of that i was like my right hand mans father. i made him. if he wouldnt fight i would slap him and make him become a man. thats on my moms soul. and he turner his back on me and didnt help me when i really needed him. that hurt like a mf. but it also made me smarter. now i aint risking my life for no friend. im a loner. i dont need friends. im super happy with just my brother, my girl my stepdaughter and thats it. i got my youtube ppl i comment with. i got you that i say whats up to when i can. but i dont need to get back stabbed again so i keep my circle small.
sorry for the paragraph. this topic really hits me cause i know what charlie rock feels. and thats f’d up. i bet theres way way more stories charlie rock can tell the world but he cant cause he might incriminate himself. so just imagine the stories cr ld has.

I'm a 49 year old black man from upstate NY.... like 1.5÷2 hours North of NYC... & Charlie Roc is 100% on point with his history of hip hop for sure. I remember being a Lil dude hearing underground mixtapes straight outta South Bronx exclusively. Before Sugar Hill Gang or any of that. My people had family In the Bronx & he would get a mixtape & pass around to the homes so everybody could make copies. I remember it like it wuz yesterday trying to memorize the words so I could say it to my homes at the busstop in the morning. Lol! Also, the Puerto Rican influence on hip hop CANNOT be DENIED....I used to be in break dancing crews & the dudes we looked up to were ALL Puerto Rican....Those dudes were official on every level of hip hop as long as I've known wut hip hop wuz. Like he said.... Breaking, graffiti, clothes, DJs.... everything. When he said it wuz 50/50 Black & Puerto Rican he couldn't be more accurate. I don't really have an opinion on the Fat Joe issues he got but I do know his hip history perspective is 100% how it wuz. Oh..... & I don't have a side on the Fat Joe & Charles Roc thing but I have been locked up with SEVERAL DUDES that are ALL THE WAY OFFICIAL..... & JOE CRACK WUZ THAT DUDE IN TGEM STREETS..... Idol know that.
