In this world, is the destiny of mankind controlled by some transcendental entity or law? Is it like the hand of God hovering above? At least, it is true that man has no control, even over his own will.
Dwarven smithing is god tier for warriors. The min-max element of damage is negligible when you consider that fully dwarf-smithed armor improves your knockdown resistance. Coupled with the already high amount of defenses and knockdown resistance in Warrior, it’s way better to keep him up, charging, smashing, and cleaving. Hands down, I never do anything else other than Dwarf.
Impact is absolutely worth having, hear me out: it has nothing to do with mounting like you said in the video. It absolutely increases your ability to knock enemies down while staying grounded. Cyclopes, Ogres, and Minotaurs all fall down after one charged Mountain Breaker into a leg push. Just hit the attack, sheathe, and run up to the leg and grab from the ground while it's staggering. You can straight up dunk them without ever leaving the ground.
A little late to the party, but it specifically allows you to push and pull enemies. Using the pickup button next to large enemies lets you push or pull them with your BARE HANDS! It's so badass sheathing your sword just to push over an ogre with your hands!@@PurgeEvilTV
About the weapon upgrades, just start with drawven to get knockdown boost, then go 2 battahl so you get max dmg(or go 3 battahl, on you) aand then finish with dragonforge to make the weapon weight half of what it did before
Mage, warrior, theif, sorceror is a solid party setup, you have access to both physical and magic damage and have an even split between frontline and backline fighters
I think Ambuscade will do more for you than Lethality. Consider that it gives a 10% boost vs Lethality's 5%, and that you are constantly swinging on staggered and knocked-down enemies.
It doesn't work like that bro, it's when the enemy is just off guard, once he detects you the non-battle phase ends, that is, even if he is knocked out, frozen, etc. he is no longer in the non-battle phase 🫤
i really like the "perfect momentum" mechanic behind it where you have a trigger window just like perfect blocks but that accellerates to hit faster and faster, it's quite new and fresh as a mechanic
Dope guide!! TY. Finally someone actually showing gameplay along with combos and the detailed explanations! TY. PS. Is it me or do the names for warrior and fighter seem backwards? warrior = tank Fighter = big dmg
A few of the augments you recommended aren’t very good. The stats and details were revealed and the damage augments are either flat numbers or small percentages like 5% which is negligible at best. The defense augments are better and efficient since they’re 30% vs flat 30 like the damage augments
you don’t know what you’re talking about. because of the way damage is calculated in this game, 5% lethality buff is actually a huge difference. the flat upgrades are what’s garbage
Another consideration would be a warrior with heavy or light set of gear. My pawn is outfitted with light gear to take advantage of the ring of brawn which offers a greater boost to strength the less weight he has. Coupled with the ring of aggression which also boosts strength, he can deal tons of damage.
Interesting, I had read that people weren’t seeing much of an increase with that ring even if they were naked so I disregarded it, but that is definitely something to note. Especially when I go full fashion’s dogma
@@PurgeEvilTV I think it works as fights with ogres and trolls are literally over in seconds. I do have cinderspine so maybe a weapon with a decent amount of power makes a difference.
Idk about the ring of brawn but I found the ring of aggression to not be worth it. It's a flat +30 strength (same as the final thief augment) and at higher levels that's a nearly insignificant amount if strength.
@@Vanov sure on its own it may not amount to much, but combined with the other ring and all other strength augments it starts to add up. Hopefully there's another ring out there that has better strength boost.
I would add two Bahttali upgrades, and one dwarven for the knockdown power. For weapons Same with armor for warrior. You’ll get heavy defense buffs. And with the dwarven upgrade you’ll get a good Upgrade to knockdown resistance.
Every single armor should be using dwarf smithing no matter what vocation you are playing. For warrior weapons go battahli and for your magic enchanted warrior weapons go dwarf. You can go dwarf on your normal hammers if you want but you will lose some damage.
@Ccubed92 unfortunately i feel like there are less fashionable options than in DD1, at least ones that are found naturally. I prioritize fashion, but if i can't i try to get as much knowdown resistance as possible
You should still go dwarven on the weapons. You lose like 30 str which is literally nothing at endgame but you gain 300-400 knockdown which is massive. Dwarven is just the outright best in every scenario due to stat inflation from levelling
Hell yeah thanks man, for reference it’s the Grand Cuirass & Brutal Cuisses (both found at Battal Smithy, you’ll get there at some point don’t rush it), and the helmet which I don’t think is in this video, is the Fiendish Armet, which becomes available at Smithy’s at/near the end of the game
I also used the General’s Mantle cape. The chest piece comes with a “waist cape” which clips through most capes, the one I chose is red as well so it kind of blends in and you don’t really notice it
Why to equip both sunder and mountain breaker at the same time? Can`t understand. They look they same kinda. Is there some combo opportunities with them? How to use em both right?
Mountain breaker does more poise damage, sunder has the utility of the full range of motion while also having high poise damage as well, just not as much. Mountain breaker to stagger, then heavenward to topple, sometimes vice versa, but the stab crushes their poise and has a bit more precision. I suppose it comes down to personal preference. They both just have multiple uses and put out more dps than most other skills, exception being indomitable lash
Dragons Bite is the "endgame" 2H, its a giant sword, it has 900+ knockdown when dwarven upgraded, no reason to use one of the maces unless you feel you absolutely need element damage
@@PurgeEvilTV if you want a sword that’s more Dragonslayer shaped I suggest the Ogresbane which can be looted from a Grim Ogre or a warrior bandit in the Eremitic Sanctuary in battahl
@@PurgeEvilTV I suggest killing the Bandit in the Eremitic Sanctuary, it’s way easier than farming Grim Ogres, plus it does more damage than lifetaker
One question I have is, how the hell is it possible to have over 950 strength as a level 30 [warrior] pawn? I found this pawn and stuck with it for a while on my first playthrough, it was using the Gryphic victory sword and had late game (not postgame) armor, yet as I am now (level 54) with postgame armor and the dragon's bite sword with 2 upgrades (from battahl) I still only have 848 strength? I even changed my height from 188 to 198 thinking it might be that, but it isnt. Im at a loss.
@@garouopm7602 yeah but I was also using them, also I noticed the pawns strength is now lower (not even 600) so it was either a bug or the person used a glitch or something.

I get jts a great sword/hammers and for the charge up skills its totally understandable. But I feel like even the basic attacks are slow as shit. Maybe I just need to do the timing this and barge more often. Get back n give it another go. Anyone got any additional tips?
I'm honestly with you on this as well. The way the warrior feels now requires way more patience than the previous game because of its longer list of charge skills. Hell the core skills aren't all that much useful either to be frank. If this was just the class meant for the blunt weapons I'd understand why it all feels so slow. But the more I played warrior, the worse off I felt after each battle. I was expecting faster skills like DD:DA had like with the corona slash, act of atonement, exodus slash, etc etc.

I could agree more my friend! Since dd dark arisen i felt that warrior was faster. Then I could charge that chunky move to one shit people. But its basic attacks felt quicker.
