When I saw him live against Napoli in Barcelona I knew he will impress next season and he has. He absolutely deserves to be our Brazilian star, but I am afraid that he will be underrated. I can't predict the future, but knowing football media people will be talking about Ronaldinho, Ney, Vini, but I hope Raphina will be remembered. He is a top talent and Raphi is a leader.
Raphinha is about to enter his prime but I think his best position in the future will be as a number 9, just think about it, he is strong, fast , good positioning, incredible pressing machine ,making runs and lethal in front of goal. If we sign leao , musiala or Nico next year we could try Raphinha as a number 9
Trust me bro he’s more of a supporting striker type (which Flick is already playing him at). Right now, he’s playing as a literal carbon copy of Griezmann at Atleti. You want them all around the box and not restricted specifically to finding positions to score.

Go look at his heat map compared to Raphinha today. For what it’s worth, I think Raphinha will do pretty OK at 9 for a few games, but you’re not maximizing his impact playing him there.
At 27 he is not that old yet, I am sure he'll stay for at least 3 more seasons and with his current rate, I am in no doubt that he will explode even further, if the injuries don't get him, I have liked him since the very first season under Xavi, he had the Brazilian spirit albeit not on Dinho or Ney levels. His mentality is good in the left wing, his confidence in the left wing is very high especially if he starts in the left wing. But he still has a long way to go ahead of the season in order to convince Barcelona that they don't really need a left winger especially nico Williams or Raphael leao. And if he succeeded in convincing Barcelona and the fans, Barcelona might just go after a young backup like Claudio Echeverri or estavao Williams instead of a full replacement for the left wing.
