Seems like Flick just can't fix the defense so far. Attack is also lacking without Lamine but I don't think that will be a problem in the future. Flick just has to fix our defense and our press as well. The press has been really really bad lately, it wasn't good at the start of the season but it was at least better than right now. We have good defenders starting and on the bench, there should be no excuse. Madrid have much worse defense depth but they've been actually much better in defense than us

On the right hand side we have lamine yamal to hold the width. Even if we forget his technical ability, his job is to hold that width and so is balde's job to hold width on left. Yesterday we had ig olmo on left hand side or even gavi they are playing the raphinha position but, on the right side you are causing a "not as fast as balde" "fullback" (who is actually a centre back) to cover the flank with raphinha taking up right half spaces. They need a person to hold width on the right side when kounde is playing or else kounde who is a natural defender has to cover a flank which he cannot do.

David for sure because there is no reason not to sign him. Worst case sell him later best case he goes from a lewandowski backup on the bench to growing into one of the best. Haaland I think is the worst pick as he’s unaffordable. With gyokeres I think unfortunately we must miss out on him as lewa can keep this form next season as well and gyokeres will be again too expensive. Realistically with the elections coming up I think Laporta will fuck things up and make some statement signing like Leao or smth for 100mil plus

People really underestimate Haaland, at Dortmund he was a more complete striker. Not Suarez levels but really good in the build up and his on ball ability was underrated, at City he’s so limited because of how pep uses him. I think if he were to go to Barcelona he’d be the perfect replacement for lewa

Benjamin Sesko. He will most likely stay another year at Leipzig meaning we can go after him as soon as Lewa’s contract runs out. Gyokeres will most likely in the Summer and I HIGHLY DOUBT that him and Lewa will want to be rotating with each other. Haaland is apparently going to extend his contract at City with a higher release clause, plus I personally don’t think he’s a good enough fit for Barca. He’s just way too 1 dimensional, needs to add more to his overall game.

Case is Barcelona won’t take Gyokeres cause they can’t afford having him next to Lewandowski. And probably Lewandowski will stay cause he’s doing great now, but idk maybe same strange move like Gundogan will happen. Gyokers won’t wait for Barca EVERYONE wants him, probably there will be huge bids on him on winter. So it depends what strategy with striker Barcelona will pick. Johnathan David seems reasonable option due to his price, skills and profile. There are also other positions to take care in next summer window. I think Barcelona should more look for a class winger. So interesting option would be Williams / Leao and Johnathan David for free. We can also try sign Jonathan Tag and sell one of the CB’s, Christensen probably. Left back should be also upgraded or maybe Valle can handle this
