Hi everyone! I'm back with some more Thrifted DIY decor! I thought I'd challenge myself to upcycle a few things I picked up from Charity Shops to transform them :)

Everything you showed was very smart ideas but I love the banner idea the most. The banner is a simple craft, affordable, and you can customize for what ever statement you want to make. Love it.
I love the chair! I used a piece of bamboo pattern wallpaper in a wooden tray. I gave it a few coats of clear spray varnish to protect it from spills.

Oh I love these so much. The hanging trays look amazing and for so well with the plant pots in your spare room. The chair is amazing. I had a similar sample of wallpaper and I upcycled a bookcase with it (uploaded it a week ago) the plant pot looks amazing and definately doesnt look like a 50p charity shop find. The gnomes are funny but also look so stylish now! I love the sentimental piece you made with the coasters. This video was amazing and as I'm watching, my fiance has just commented on how relaxing your voiceovers are! Im sorry for the long comment but I absolutely loved the creativity!!! Thanks for sharing 😊

Love how you have thrifted the trays! They are actually used in early years settings, a nursery that I worked at had them as trays with different shiny objects for the children to explore!

That was a pleasure to watch Iwan, I liked the chair but I wanted you to leave the seat black! Still you can always have it black when you tire of the palm trees. Great idea to use the paper on it though I would never have thought of using wall paper on a seat.

Oh gosh! These were all so great. I love Hermoine and Catherine (the real ones and the ones in your garden), but I think the chair is my favorite. It really did just look like junk and I wasn't sure you could get it fixed. It came out so pretty. Thank Mr. C and have a great Sunday!

This was fabulous as always. Just a thought - if you wanted to sit on the chair could you add a piece of translucent voile over the fabulous wallpaper & glue underneath to give it durability. You would have a hazier patten showing through admittedly, but if you needed a chair to sit on it might help. Thank you for the great entertainment & ideas. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️

Love the furniture overhaul and the gnomes looked great after a spray. I did a C&G course a few years ago that was titled Interior Design but was heavily based on upcycling so I always like to see what other people are doing. Loved the chair especially, my Nan and Grandad had a set of 4 of those exact ones with matching drop leaf dining table, for as long as I can remember. I think they must be 1950’s reminded me a bit of Ercol furniture which is pretty expensive. Looked v fresh and modern with the wallpaper you added anyway, a clever upcycle! And the macrame with the trays....we made macrame plant holders in junior school. Remember it being pretty easy and effective. Be looking forward to seeing more of your projects! : )

You could pop a layer of clear PVC over the wallpaper to protect it also, usually available as table cloth protection film from craft stores :)

Have you seen the hanging metal buckets in Poundland - a plant pot sized metal bucket with a long metal handle bent over at the end perfect for hooking over a fence or trellis in cream, grey , and a light sage green . I could also imagine them in a kitchen or bathroom hanging over a metal strip like a reused towel rail to pop in all sorts of bits and pieces. They had them last year plain, but this year they added a logo which would probably mean spray painting them
