I chose to create a piano cover of "Closer" by Kings of Leon because its eerie sound and unusual lyrics captivated me. The haunting melody, combined with the enigmatic and slightly unsettling lyrics, provided a unique challenge and a rich canvas for musical interpretation. The song’s inspiration, rooted in dark and mysterious themes, offered a deep well of emotion and atmosphere to explore on the piano, allowing me to bring out new dimensions of its haunting beauty.
