      @SaltyRivertowne Thanks for the comment!! How's the fishing been for you? Unfortunately for me, I've only been able to get out a couple of times in the last few months.

    I am glad to see SC fishing channels. If you would like to have more likes and comments you need to put more content into the video for example we do need to see specific places on the map but show where and how you target fish at each location, by where i mean points , creeks ect. assume we don't know how to fish for the different species you fish. Talk to us. Ask our opinions and try our suggestions. Keep a fish now and then and cook it for us. show us that you enjoy what you are doing. But most important is that you talk to us and tell us what you are doing. Good luck and we will be watching and waiting for your channel to grow and improve.

    I have fished the Wando River but mainly the Hobcaw creek where me and a buddy won a trout tournament!! Great content that most people don't share Good for you friend

      Congrats on the tourney win!! Thanks for responding!! I don't mind sharing to help those that don't have the time or maybe they're new to fishing and need some guidance on where some fishing spots are located. As you know you can fish a spot one day and tear them up and then the next day get skunked.

      @@saltwaterjacksfishing I have tried gulp shrimp, different paddle tails, twitch baits, and even some of your pumpkin gobies with a chartreuse jig head. Tried throwing some frozen shrimp. I Haven’t really done live bait yet because I don’t have the time usually to mess with getting the net out. Might try to get some mud minnows soon. I am going to try that section of the Wando soon! Thank you for this video. I will let you know if it brings me success.

    Thanks I really enjoy your videos. I usually put in at Paradise with my Kayak and love fishing the Wando but I just bought a 21' Bay boat and wondering where to put in to fish that part of the Wando. I live in Upstate, SC and drive down for couple days at a time. Is Remleys Point the closest public ramp? Is Wando River Marina Private?

    • @saltwaterjacksfishing
      @saltwaterjacksfishing  Год назад

      Congratulations on your new toy!! So glad that you're enjoying the videos!! I see people launching boats at Paradise Island. Not sure if it would accommodate your 21' bay Boat. There's a landing near the 41 Bridge however I just called them for you, and they said that there is a waitlist that goes out to 2024(you have to be a member). Remley's point is a good boat ride to this part of the Wando. Wish I could help more.

    bACK IN THE 80;S i USED TO FISH UNDER A BIGWe could BRIDGE on the Wando. We would cut crab in half and drop it un the bottom. You could only do it during low tide. My Aunt and Uncle had a house there right off the river. We would visit about every year. We caught huge red fish doing that.

    There's a lot of info that can be gleaned from a 9 minute video. Were you fishing hard once you started or running from point to point?

    • @saltwaterjacksfishing
      @saltwaterjacksfishing  Год назад +1

      Fishing hard in the lime green areas (represents when we were using the trolling motor). Red lines = when we were going from point to point. Hope this helps.

      Hey Jason, it's been a while since I've been up that way and don't want to give you misinformation. I've always used artificial lures (usually a TRD Green Pumpkin Goby) and have had success.
