Bonjour tout le monde, Video about the liaisons here: ruclips.net/video/LZtiYJDtKG4/видео.html I made a video about changes due to the rapidity of the speech here: ruclips.net/video/CcGw33R1HsA/видео.html xx
So happy to see the abreviations like "chui" a few years ago I asked my French teacher about this, because in English we have "I am" but we tend to say "I'm". My French teachers never taught me any abreviations like these!!
I definitely would love for you to create a video highlighting “les liaison”.. It’s quite difficult at times to listen and then try to translate what you think was said.. ..Great videos by the way...Very helpful!.. You get right to the point, and give great examples!!!
Ms. Pearl, I have seen many videos of yours & found very good French teacher. I personally wants to take classes from you. Your teaching style with smiling face, right pronounciation, describing everything are excellent. Every day I watch, listen your 1 or 2 videos . J sui Indian.
That's so good to know that you use WordReference. I've been wondering where to learn pronunciations from since I don't have anyone that can speak french with me
I’m really appreciate your slowly speaking and explaining smoothly. I’m trying to learn French from scratch. I know few words Thanks dear I’m waiting to watch more useful videos from you
Salut! I have been learning French for a while now and I do have an issue with fast speakers but it isn't stopping me. I just subscribed, I hope to learn a lot from you. Cheers!
I’m new to learning French. I have Rosetta Stone and I’m on unit 9. My husband is bilingual from Quebec Canada. I just want to speak French fluently for when we move.
Hi, these tips are so useful !!! YES.. Please make a video on more examples of French liaisons and understanding fast spoken words and phrases. I just love your videos, Thank you
good video. thanks. but the main reason why i struggle in understanding french is only reason number 2. the rapidity of speaking combined with changing the pronounciation. i have no problem to understand written french or when a french teacher speaks a clear french, but as soon as i listen to "normal" people or a movie, i only understand like 30% of it. i guess there is no tip that helps immediately. simply listen over and over again will help.
Salut !! I agree with you. there is no tips that helps immediately. What really helped me to learn English was to be exposed to English constantly it helped me understand more. It took me time but I got there. Keep going !! I promise you will improve 😊🇫🇷
This is the best video I have seen those far and I second guess watching it because I thought it would be more of the same. But this was a pleasant surprise I love the examples and tips you gave💕 merci.
This was absolutely so helpful. I’ve been using Duoling and it doesn’t really break down “les liaisons” which for some reason I hadn’t heard about until I clicked on this video. Please keep making videos for people like me bc we really do appreciate it! Thank you so much for be patient and funny at the same time 🙏🏿😭🥰🥰🥰
You really choose good topics for videos and those will be very helpful to evryone out there leaning this language but the con is that you don't put much information in it. Keep posting, keep improving 💞💞
Video on the changes: shortened words, liaisons, pronounciation etc...pls. I didn't know about p'tetre peut etre. Also i realised recently i have to learn lots more words WITH their masculine or feminine articles
I took over five years of French in school and then two years in university...and I still cannot understand spoken French! At all! It's really upsetting. I think I am wired for slow auditory language processing (I also have hearing loss in one ear.), but it's frustrating. I can read 80-90 percent of written French, and people who have heard me try to speak it think that I should be able to converse because I evidently pronounce French well. But I can't register anything anyone says, whether in person or through any kind of video. Strangely, I can understand more spoken Spanish than I can understand spoken French, and I only took half a year of Spanish when I was 12 years old. I think I probably understand it because it's similar to French in some ways, and because living in the U.S., I've heard Spanish spoken all my life. Anyway, I enjoy your videos, and I do hope to polish my abilities a bit through them. You are a wonderful teacher and have a delightful manner.
There are books in Spanish to learn French, and books in Spanish to learn French. These, especially + cds or videos, French and English, French and Spanish, or all 3 + more in SAME videos, which may be on youtube. If not there are multilingual videos that can be read via all region (any and all formats from any country) VCR s, if videos by other countries are not in US format. Bonne chance!!!
I would like a video of sounds that change when people talk fast!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Btw thank u so much for your videooos!! They have been very helpful for me to start learning French!💗🤩
Yes, I want more videos on how the pronunciations of words change when followed by a vowel or a consonant. I'm at the point where I can say & be understood, but I can't catch the meaning when French people "let if fly" at full speed.
Thanks a lot for this video. It is really useful. Would it be possible to explain why plus is mostly used for negative meaning than "more" and why personne means "no one" instead of person..??
The fact is... I understand French to a certain level depending on the context even tho I don't know yet if that's present, past or future. But I can't speak. Words don't come into my mind
I love to speak French but there's no one to practice with so at the end of the day,no matter how many new things I learn I easily forget. How do I go about this please
what are the tips or techniques that you can give to me or for a newbie that might be easier to understand a french?like written a word, listening and speaking. Thanks 🙂
