Thanks for inspiration! I have a project right now shot with an iPhone 8. It’s suppose to look like mobile shots so that’s fine, but this is really cool 😊👍

Appreciate it! And yeah, the mist filter I think really helps, especially with mobile shot footage.

I’ll never look at my iPhone 13 Pro Max in the same way again. Amazing creativity, production not to mention entertaining. Incidentally, I now have the wife check out the boot (trunk) before setting off on a trip. 🤦‍♂️

The male actor looks like Doc Oc from Spiderman.

Never thought about that, but yeah I can see it. Most people say he looks a bit like Nick Cage. :)

Blake, do you think if you took the clip you showed at the dealership and compared background noise, and if you only used your iPad Pro to take noise out… would the Brusfri app/ plug-in work to do similar in LumaFusion?

I’ve played with that in LF (but not a whole lot), but yeah I think you could get similar. The trick I did and I didn’t go into detail for time reasons but I also mixed the denoised track with the original. I did Heavy denoising and so sometimes it can sound a little “warbly“ and will have artifacts, but if you mix it in with the original and find the right balance it can sound really good. I also added in traffic sound effect ambience to even things out.

Curious, so would color masking allow you to "mask" out an object that is blue or green in conjunction with a blue/green screen? Basically, I have wines that may have either color and that's a problem. I now have both colors so it's way less of a problem, but there might be a case where a label has both colors and it would be nice to not have to worry about it.

Sure, especially if it’s a different shade. Or you could also do an actual mask around an object so it’s not affected by the key - or even use something like Rotobrush in After Effects. Several ways to approach it depending too whether it’s a static or moving shot.

For this project it was a little too complex so I wanted desktop apps & plugins, however, you could absolutely use LumaFusion for the majority of it or in just a different way.
