This is the awesome Ritewing Zcon (twin motor) following Pauls AtomRC Dolphin in formation down mountain rivers. For a full kit list with links please check out the video description. Thanks for watching 👍
Got a Dolphin build planned perhaps? Or playing with the idea? It's a very good looking plane, got mine just because of that. But it actually does fly very good and i really enjoy it.
I have no plans for a Dolphin, in fact I have no plans for any new planes at the moment 😅 just doing some work on the models I already have at the moment to get them how I want them or repaired in some cases. Everyone that has a Dolphin rates it very highly 👍🏻
Got me a Dolphin on build...the wing area looks quite small without the body. Evidently its a great platform though and capable of carrying a wide Lipo capacity.....🤔🙄😳🇬🇧 Looked a bit turbulent m8..😳
Yeah it was very turbulent. Was a bit disappointing but we just went for it anyway. Everyone i know that has a Dolphin loves it... becomes a favourite. Not tried one myself. Cheers
Thanks Stuwe ❤ Paul did extremely well considering the first clip was actually his first ever time flying this river.. add the wind and the fact his Walksnail system was getting a bit blurry it's impressive this turned out so well. Cheers
Thanks! Considering the first clip on this video was Pauls first ever time flying this route and that it was so windy he did really well and went lower than I expected :)
You're right, it's not as easy as it looks 😅 It was very turbulent and when I was flying low I had to keep an eye out for trees and Pauls postition to adjust to both. Usually I fly these solo and only have to concentrate on the ground. Cheers
Mostly down to very turbulent weather in the valley. The airframe is smaller and lighter than the Zcon so will always be less stable in windy conditions. Cheers
Kind of wish there was some form of stabalization that allows you to follow an object I suspect it would have to be done manually post processing taking a long time. Gyroflow and gopro stabalization make the person been followed look very unstable, rather than a balance of instabaility of both chaser and target. I have to go back and redo videos of recent flights in Wales for this reason.
In this situation I don't think stabilisation makes the Dolpin look less stable than it actually was. It really was windy and turbulent. Trying to stabilise based on the object [plane being followed] would only work if it remained very central on the recorded image, once it get's near the edge of the image there isn't enough to crop and stabilise. In this case the image isn't was wide enough angle for this to work, in some instances the dolphin is out of shot completely. Thanks for watching and commenting 😃
@@AdamGdoesFPV okay, but it does look a bit weird, I guess all came together for this result, wind, stabilisation, both planes being thrown around in flight.
Thanks 😎 you can still get them if you msg Chris. Kit is $160 for both single or twin motor. I also add the bulletproof rod/horn set which are $20. Nothing flies like it 🤘🏻

Does the job 😁

Your super cool river run in formation! What a show! great piloting from both of you!

Another winner Adam. I only wish it had lasted longer. Very sharp and snappy video quality.
Thanks I appreciate it 👍
Awesome flight, it was cool to the shadows of the wings on the ground below during flight.
Chasing shadows is also fun... but a bit less fun when it's this windy 😅 thanks for watching and commenting
Nice work gentlemen
Cheers buddy 😎 this was recorded the day you met us 👍🏻
Your channel is epic great upload pal 👍 ❤ love from Bristol UK 🇬🇧
Thank you for the great feedback 🙌 Much appreciated
Awesome as always Adam! That Zcon is rock solid, I always wanted one.
Cheers mate 😎 I know you like your Draks but you really should grab a Zcon. Flies so well 🤘🏻
Fantastic Adam, as always.
Thanks for the support 😁
Always fun to chase, it has made us all better pilots. Nice flying in the wind too!
Chasing is a lot more fun than solo, and its harder 😅 Especially in this wind. Thanks!
@@AdamGdoesFPV Solo chasing is almost impossible, almost... 😅
Beautiful thanks ❤
Thank you for watching and for your comment 🙏
Brilliant!! ❤
Thanks for the feedback 😎
Dam good flying!!!!

Awesome yet again
Cheers Matt 😁
Very nice chase flight! Never as easy as it seems!!

Dolphin looks a bit bumpy Zcon ploughs through, so stable in the breeze
It was very gusty winds! Zcon footage is also stabilised but yeah it was handling the wind better as you'd expect from a bigger heavier model
Love it
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
Is the Dolphin's twitchiness pilot, airframe or camera induced?
Mostly down to very turbulent weather in the valley. The airframe is smaller and lighter than the Zcon so will always be less stable in windy conditions. Cheers
Great stuff :)
Thanks 🙂

@@AdamGdoesFPV , getting forgetfull in my old age, are you the same person that was involved in developing the efpv tracker?
Also, seems stabilisation makes the Dolphin jump all over the screen
No that's the wind making the Dolphin jump all over the place 😂It was very windy and turbulent.
@@AdamGdoesFPV okay, but it does look a bit weird, I guess all came together for this result, wind, stabilisation, both planes being thrown around in flight.
Are you running stock inav pids on the zcon?
Yes, I ran autotune to set the correct rates in pitch and roll and no pids are updated.
Great video mate. Whats the damage on those Ritewing,s and are they still available?
Thanks 😎 you can still get them if you msg Chris. Kit is $160 for both single or twin motor. I also add the bulletproof rod/horn set which are $20. Nothing flies like it 🤘🏻
@@AdamGdoesFPV That sounds very reasonable. And what's the shipping cost mate, to UK?.
the dolphin is all over the place, it is very hard to chase such pilots...
Hard to blame the pilot here, it was really quite windy and turbulent for such a light plane. Thanks for watching 😃
@@AdamGdoesFPVbut the Zcon looks on rails it’s incredible!
