I got here from the movie/show “1liter of tears”, which is based on a true story/diary eateries from a girl who suffered from this until she died.. I highly recommend watching it and it helps spread awareness for the disease and it’s hardships. Hopefully together we can find a cure and help people with disease live longer and happier lives 🙂🙏🏻
My wife has spino cerebral ataxia since 2006. I always cry seeing her. I pray everyday that we can find a cure for this disease. There is no such thing as incurable disease.

I have had attaxia since I was a teenager in the 60s. Was told it was me looking for attention by doctors. I am 66 now and have been on Diamox for 7 or 8 years. My oldest son is in his 30s and has had this condition since 6th grade. It was the Moran Eye clinic doctor who figured out what it was. With it, comes dizziness, clumsiness, double vision, nystagmus and migraines. My son was too sick to finish high school...but Diamox helps him to keep a job. I just had a severe attack and had to be helped to my chair 6 feet away.
