I've lived with Dilantin induced Cerebellum damage for nearly 30 year. I've had a fair amount of the symptoms mentioned at least those pertaining to Cerebellum damage.
My mom has had this illnes for about 6months so far n its really hard for her providing for 6 other ppl so sometimes she might loose balance n fall most of the time she dosent go outside without anyone my brother in 6form dropped out n is helping my mom my mom has a broken collarbone cuz she fell down the stairs so thats when she got the ilnnes worst timing posible if 1 of ur family or freinds have this ull get through it the doctors said theres no cure for this disease but in 5 to 10 years they might be and me n all my 5 siblings might have it
My mother is suffering from paraneoplastic cerebellar syndrome Where all her motor functions are stopped. Please help Doctors have told there's no cure to it

You need to also take care of your health/ nutrition. *Coconut Oil (Unrefined) *MCT Oil *Vitamin B (complex) * Exercise (light, if you can, strengthen the core.Can be done in bed) * Check out Rehab HQ here on RUclips. I pray for you and hope for restored health.
It would depend on the infection, but in most cases a full recovery would be expected from viral ataxia. Some fine motor skills may take time to return fully. Instead of meds it would be more about avoiding triggers.
Probably the/some kind of Tremor radiating through the body. Remember it's a "loss/lack of coordination disease/disorder." Can /do you have enough stability to exercise?
examine the shape of her skull and body. They should be the same size left and right. look at the back of her skull near where it meets the neck. check for any noticeable differences.

also, teach child to use non dominant hand to feed self. (increases blood flow to that side of brain and activates more neurotransmitters.
