It's good but after around 8 months (I think) of use, it just stopped working so I'm now using the Shure MV88 mic and love it even more - it's fantastic! Search my channel and watch those videos as it's much better IMO.
hi Rosie, this is really confusing. This is the 4th review video i've watched for this mic, and the other 3 all show that when using the mic the volume is SO much louder but less clear than the internal mic, in other words, louder but worse sound quality. But your review shows the opposite, that it's softer and better sound quality. How can this be? Please watch some other review videos so you know what i mean. Any idea why there is this huge contradiction between your video and others?
Hey! Yeah I would say it’s quieter and better quality. I’m not sure why to be honest.. I watched review videos before I bought it but I always think it’s so much better to test something for yourself and if you don’t like it you can send it back.. I will also say that after 8 months of use.. it kind of stopped working and wouldn’t record the audio of some of my videos, which meant when vlogging, I lost some content. So I have now switched to the Shure MV88 which I’m still testing out.. sorry I couldn’t be more help but I’d say to buy it and test it for yourself..
2 cents of constructive criticism and encouragement. I happen to have an audio background. DO NOT EVER use CA glue on or near ANY condenser microphone capsule diaphragm. EVER!!! Seriously. Pop filters are a dime a dozen. (facepalm) (deep breath) (whoosaaah) Ha! Now, otherwise casually overlooking that potential bit of PTSD inducing microphone trauma, and honestly attempting to respond with positivity? I genuinely did enjoy how charming this review was overall. Just please, if you would? Do not use CA glue near a mic capsule again! M'kay? Ha! Cheers!
