Curling is like golf. There are many ways to swing a golf club. Many ways people do it but you would not teach it. It's the same way with delivering a curling stone. Additionally, curling has no requirement that you actually slide. All you have to do is start in the proper side of the hack and let go of the stone before it reaches the near hog line. Note that the title of the video is "first time curling." May be that all the instructor wants to do at this point in the lesson is getting her to let go of the stone and put a rotation on it. My guess is that later in this lesson she will attempt to deliver the stone while sliding.
Very nice your are so cute from bottom of my heart
Thank you 🙏🏼
i love you ❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks 🙏🏼
Thank you for this video. It sold me on this watch
Aww thank you! 🙏🏼 I’m glad it was helpful!
This was such a great guide very detailed and helpful thank you!! 🙏
Aww thank you so much ☀️
Stayed there once booked a window room and got stuck into a room with no window. I think they gave my room away as there were a lot of people checking in in front of me I will not stay there again.
Oh that’s a shame. It’s a nice place to stay if you get a window room.
What was it like trying to take your drone into sri lanka, I want to take a dji mini in with me is it OK?
We didn’t have any issues so I think the mini would be ok!
Did you have to register or anything?
I don’t think so!
Those "swinging men" are Voladores. They're native to Veracruz, but are so iconic that they perform at major tourist areas all throughout Mexico, however I don’t know the symbolism behind it either. And damn, I was not aware that there were crocodiles in this part of Mexico. Definitely good to know.
0:27 LMAO! I love how you're saying "7 places in 4 weeks was "rushed", and here I am thinking, "4 weeks and they only saw 7 places?" I guess this illustrates the differences in our travel styles. 😂 That being said, Costa Rica used to interest me especially as a kid, but now I think it's overrated even for tourism. You can get the same kind of geography and wildlife in other Latin American countries plus much more, for way cheaper. I see no incentive in choosing Costa Rica over other countries in the region. I was very close to going a couple years ago, but now I'm glad the plans fell through. If I was in a neighboring country near the border I might hop over for a day or two, but I can't see myself doing a special trip there anymore, especially after seeing Panama and Mexico. People seem to have this perception that it's cheap, but from what I've researched, it isn't cheap at all
6 years ago? I don't wanna sound arrogant, but I'm such a geography nerd, so IDK how other people knew about these islands and I only learned of their existence last year😂They no longer seem so obscure and uncharted as I initially thought.
It doesn't look like you've been to other Mayan countries, but after seeing Mexico, the other ones probably wouldn't impress you much. Maybe Tikal.
Chichen Itza is of course a must, but you should've went to Uxmal too. Everyone I talked to said they preferred Uxmal, and I agree with them.
Due to circumstances that were out of our control, we only drove through VaYadollid at night. (Though your pronounciation is still more proper than Yucatecan dialect 😋) I would've loved the cenotes, churches and convent, but seeing the streets, it doesn't look a whole lot different from Merida. And Merida is larger and has more museums/attractions, but Valladolid seems more chill. We had rain at night too, but I would not walk barefoot through that water. You might step on something, so that was ballsy. 😋 I could also never imagine an American store allowing you to walk around in wet socks😂 Having gone to school in the U.S., it's so weird to me that schools in other countries don't seem to teach history that doesn't involve their country. In the U.S., even if they don't necessarily know details about the Mayans, pretty much everyone has at least heard of them. It's kind of weird, because the US is usually so self-centered, but when it comes to history, they do teach us about other countries. So it's so weird to me that they don't talk about this stuff in the UK. One of our tour guides said he doesn't believe the ring was used for scoring, because no one has found any evidence of ware from a ball going through it. And like you said, it's not even near the field. The truth is, no one knows how it was played as they've never found any rules of the game, as most Mayan records were destroyed by the Spanish. I walked the whole site (or almost the whole site), in under 2 hours, and that was with stops to vlog, but I didn't really have a choice. 😂 That really sucks about being charged to store the microphone. You should've just put it in your pocket. The ruins there also charge for video cameras, but with smart phones and photo cameras that shoot video, you can get around this. Be very careful with the cenotes. I got very sick from swimming in one and it's actually very common.
I visited earlier this year. I mostly watch videos on places I missed or would like to visit, but sometimes it's nice to see other people's videos from the same places. I loved your honesty about the food. The markets were a let down. But nice to see a RUclipsr who still eats meat😂 I didn't get a "European" vibe from it honestly. Sure, it has some European elements, but I personally find the colonial cities very different from the European ones. Even the architecture is different, aside from the churches. I disagree with you about having to be "rich" to visit museums, but free attractions are always nice, and I do agree with you that a lot of attractions in Europe are overpriced, especially if you're a foreigner. So after a while, it does add up. By the way that "free museum" you visited is actually the house of the guy who founded the city. I recognized some of the places you visited. I saw most of the museums, but I didn't see any of cultural events you showed, because of their scheduling, but I as there during MeridaFest, so I saw some other events. I think I spent about the same amount of nights as you, but I was alternating between day trips and time in the city. I couldn't see myself doing the whole "working remotely" thing. I wouldn't get any work done😂 I'll watch your other Yucatan videos later, 'cuz your channel has caught my interest now. Greetings from California.
Shahjan died watching the Taj Mahal from Agra fort under house arrest
Awesome and rly helpful video, I'll be going there in 3 weeks. Any other places to work from that you'd recommend on the island? :)
Thank you 🙏🏼 We didn’t really find anywhere else.. but also we didn’t have a motorbike to really explore on our own..
Merry christmas and happy new year folks
Thank you! Merry Christmas and happy new year to you too 🎄🥳
The roayl palace is khmer style architecture. Can you please do your research and not believe in the fake information thai people post in the comments. I saw you liked a comment that says "there any many thai syle temples in Cambodia". What thai people don't even realize is that Thai culture, architecture is derived from ancient khmer aka Cambodia. Ancient stone temples in Thailand like hin phimai and phnom rung are all khmer temples. Please use google it takes less than 10 seconda to find evidence
I like all comments on my videos. And I value people sharing their opinions, knowledge and thoughts. I’m not a history channel or a geography channel. I just share my travels. I can’t be expected to know (and Google) every single thing I see and do when I travel. I just enjoy the culture, architecture, food and people ❤️
We've been to Valladolid before and loved it but you showed us some things we've missed and now can't wait to go back. Thank you, you do a really good job with these videos.
Oh thank you so much! That means the world to me ❤️🥰
Hi nice beach, may i know where exactly your airbnb area

Hi Rosie and Jeremie. My partner and I have lots of questions about your travels but firstly I want to know *where* you got your 'Dora the Explorer' typa hat if you remember? Love your vlogs - it's nice to find a travel vlog that is authentic and not kinda acted if that makes any sense. I do laugh when you say that something is a bit sh*t rather than these endless Americans who find absolutely everything awesome 🤣 Travel safe!
Haha thank you so much! That put a big smile on my face 😃 I got my hat from a market in Peru when we were in Paracas and about to go to Huacachina (which is desert) so I thought I’d buy it.. I didn’t think I would ever wear it again but I love how ridiculous it is haha! Send me all your questions and I will try to answer them for you! ❤️
I also just looked at Dora the Explorer online and she doesn’t even wear a hat 🤣 no idea why I call it that then!
@@RosieAndre Thank you! I've just remembered that I think you actually said in a video that you got it from Peru but I had forgotten. I will just have to keep searching for one! We are rewatching lots of the playlists at the moment and I will add questions as we go as I can't think of them off the top of my head right now. One thing I'd love is that you're such an amazing photographer, I mean your photos are just stunning - how did you learn? Did you take professional classes? We took a Sony A7C to SE Asia last year and my photos were just monumentally crap. Any tips? Please don't feel you have to answer this! Keep safe 😊
@@RosieAndre I forgot to say - the Dora thing must make sense because I have a kind of leather bush hat (like the kind Australians have sometimes) that I got for a big safari road trip in Namibia/Botswana/Zambia and the guys I travelled with started calling me Dora the Explorer so there must be some logic to it!
Haha yes! Maybe all travel hats on women are Dora the explorer!
Great review Rosie..you did well & seems to be good product. Got a small Carbon on sale currently £124. Compact is the goal, agreed
Awesome!
Welcome to Malaysia! Making me miss all of the good food of my home country. Hope you'll at least try the famous Malaccan Baba Nyonya cuisine there in a proper restaurant before leaving. Enjoy!

Hello, I've enjoyed watching your Costa rican video's, I'm travelling to Costa rica in January for a two week wildlife tour. I have a question: What currency did you take and use out there as I'm unsure whether to take Costa rica own currency or US dollars, or should I take a mixture of both?
I think we used a mix of both! Have fun 🦥

Welcome to Malaysia guys, we hope you both are always happy and enjoy your trip while in Malaysia🥰🥰🇲🇾🇲🇾
