@@archerdamo9160it doesn’t affect her ranking as a melee nuke at all, but it does make her a very valuable support. I’d put her in the Veyle range (tier 2) right now, but if far saviors truly come back, she could climb higher. NCD is incredibly valuable to those units.
As a MASSIVE Fjorm, Felicia, and Flora fan, who just went into the wringer because of Yukata Mia, I actively have no orbs. I feel like IS is targeting ME specifically by making units that I want to roll. If Adult Tiki gets an alt in the future, I know that they're aiming at me specifically

Don’t get me wrong, setting up terrain as a duo skill is cool, but as ice appears on more and more skills it’s going to lose its niche. Giving it two turns might be what makes it stick. That is unless they just start making more divine veins with two turns common which is what I feel like we’re gonna come to eventually.
Hardy Fighter 4's cooldown jump is not meant to counter scowl effects. Defensive specials are already immune to those (Scowls only work on offensive effects). It is meant to counter turn 1 strategies and pulse effects.
Didn't we also just get a new pulse skill? The thing is, it can't be countered even with hush spectrum for the same reason you mentioned scowl didn't work and then with emblem marth, any unit with slaying can be absurd

You really called it on Saves getting a boost, and boy did they. Fjorm brought Hardy Fighter into the game so it's poetic that she is the one to improve it.
People say this is an Ice Tribe Banner. Me? I'd say this is a Figure Skating Banner with all those ice skates (though none of the main banner units are infantry, which would've fit the ice skates they're all wearing pretty well). Icy Fjorm being one hard unit to crack.

I think she is meant to be played with Corrin, and from my experience with L!F!Corrin, NCD, BoL and HB were the main things she needed. The spd support offered could allow to run a stat seal to simply not getting doubled instead of disabling Despo with HB ? Might not be enough for SD (I'll find a use to her no matter what anywyay lol) but in AR O her support is huge imo ! Also little corrections but only the def variant of wave skills gives tempo and Felicia can be paired with a non-dragon and her support will work still !
I only summon on seasonal banners if at least 2 units on it are favorites of fine. Thea is my favorite FE6 character and Fjorm is my all time favorite FE character. Couldn’t be happier with the banner we got 🎉
I said this in the discord already, but though I love Felicia as a character, I feel like she's designed to counter a problem that isn't really that prevalent to be a problem. There's hardly any meta dragonslayers you'll be facing nowadays for the anti-dragon eff to be that good. This is a bit more controversial, but I feel like this applies to Null-C as well. I think Null-C is a bit overrated. It was desired for a bit because of Duo Lyon, but now that he's been curbstomped twice... How many relevant units disable counterattacks? I can't think of any meta threats that would require it. Overall, she seems to be a character that sounds really good until you think about it for a bit.
You talk like Lyon just died and is no more. He was countered by Null-C Disrupt. You still need Null-C Disrupt to counter him. Besides, if you're tanking, you *cannot* afford to let an attacking enemy live, be it Lyon, Hinoka or any staff unit (i.e. Loki). Even moreso for Vantage, because you don't want to get hit at all. Null-C Disrupt is niche because you don't always face sweep effects, but it is an absolute necessity whenever you *do* find them.
While NCD doesn't come into play every matchup it absolutely shifts the tide of battle when it does work. A recent character that has it is the Festival Nephenee, but the real kicker is when Læraðr releases cuz he inflicts Flash and he will definitely shake up the savior meta resurgence which this banner is gonna push forward
Well Shield Fighter also gives Fjorm her special for follow-ups. So even if she gets doubled and Desperation'd, she will still reduce all of that. The only thing that can beat her is a Quad attack because the 4th hit is the one not reduced at all or a Potent Follow Up. But that requires the speed, the brave and the ability to not die to a counter or desperation. Honestly if you give her Breath of Life support she won't be dieing to pretty much anything we have so far. And you can support her speed. I made Fallen Byleth work pretty well till they decided to give units +14 Speed.
Conclusion: Skip for F2P players! Because later this month there will be a new Heroes Emblem shared with Celica Emblem! Insane blue share! If you really like the words [ ice ] and [ frozen ] then winter will be more broken! ❄️🥶
Did the math earlier, assuming you get her to 1 hp with burn damage you still need to hit with 111 damage to get past the flat DR + %DR to do a single point of damage (90 for color advantage) (also this is best case scenario for physical damage getting past her defense, good luck getting past her res)

Like if anyone has a chance at being an omnitank, it'll be b!felix. Deadass so overloaded. Maybe one more layer of unpiercable dr or something idk
It's basically a direct upgrade to Hardy Fighter on her but she'll lose a lot of damage as she does already with HF. But considering her other options, it's probably her best B slot for now. She doesn't really need or want Clever Fighter (plus it overlaps with her weapon since she already has NFU), so yeah. I do believe you'll need the Marth ring on her if you want to use 3 cooldown defensive specials though, but 2 cooldown should be fine

Hate how the new B Fjorm brings is literally tailor made for her (and her ascended alt) -1 special jump only works the best with 1 CD specials and Marth Ring is gonna be mandatory while Fjorm can use Ike's without issue
NIFL IS REAL AND SHE CAN HURT ME I hate the fact they made Fjorm/Nifl into a save tank because I hate using those units (boring playstyle and they will be mediocore in like 2 months) but idc. I just poured everything into the brave & legendary banners to fodder stuff to my S!Nifl and now they drop this. IS is devious. Going for a +1 with exactly 24 orbs and a lot of faith in my ability to gamble.
I don't think you are correct in your armor statement. We get on average 8 premium armor units (ones with prfs) per book. This is year we already got 6, counting IFjorm, so unless we got no premium armors during Winter, there doesn't seem to be a hidden agenda to promote omnitanks.
I wonder if/when we're going to get a counter to the DR special+true DR tanks. Atm, I don't think I have any units that will do anything to Fjorm. Its not like giving me a unit with dmg and/or speed will help because they'll run straight into that 70% DR and -20(ish) damage. So unless I find 100 extra attack somewhere, its not enough. The only real way around it is to stop the special going off, which you can do with e.g. hardy bearing against Ike. But, unless you manage to stack several layers of scowl, how to stop Fjorm's special?
I think AoEs are available, but we’ve seen how they can be tough against far saves. The biggest counter I see is the melee nukes that are coming out. Equipped with the Celica ring, they have huge range, and there’s not much that fjorm can do against them. We’ll do some testing on Friday, though.
Even with a duo button, A!Amelia > W!Byleth. I loved W!B when i first got them, but feels like they've been powercrept into a dusty relic in my barracks & i regularly destroy oppenents who use them. A!A on the otherhand is a staple of my D & has few current units who outright delete her. She's easily one of the best "not going for this unit" pulls I've been blessed with.
WByleth was still an amazing Far Savior due to him being able to loop Aegis thanks to his natural tempo + NCD (his prf special is a trap!). Now that HF4 exists, he can't even die to brave hits or pulse effects, which was his only weaknesses. However, so can many other armors. Any armor with Slaying can also loop Aegis with EMarth, without the need for tempo, which is a huge hit for WByleth uniqueness. They also get access to NCD through IFelicia, so the same banner that fixes his problems might be the banner that finaly kills him.
I'm pulling a fjorm just for the fodder. One of my arena units is a +10 ascended fjorm, I pulled 6 of her off-focus and decided to commit to a merge project. I need that b skill so so badly.
Looks like I get to save orbs. Duo Fjorm is nice and all but I very much prefer bulky units than speed tanks. Cant wait for that other Hardy Fighyer 4 skill 😅

@FEH looking forwards to it! AoEs are only semi-effective now we have BoL4 though, and using melee nukes to kill far saves is cheating! 😅
