I cannot get the lever turned around with getting someone else to hold the machine. The machine is brand new. Does it need lubricated? Or should the coffee be going in as one scoop only?

The instructions say to turn the steam valve on and dispense 1/2 cup water before first use. Nothing comes out of my brand new machine

Have the same problem, have you fixed it and how?
I ended up just using it as if I’d already set it up. Just tossed the first two cups and it’s been fine ever since.
My machine isn't accepting the coffee arm and won't let me twist into place, please help
