Hey @Lilith_Stemin-Crane and anyone else reading this, never saw Cheers before but was an avid Frasier watcher. How much of Cheers-Frasier lore changed for Frasier-Frasier? Remember reading that Niles was created post-Cheers, but really weird seeing Cheers-Frasier drinking regular beer.
In later seasons of Frasier he would have a beer with his dad a couple times. Even at a local bar. It emerged as kind of a callback- in early Frasier he was much snootier. Some fan theories suggested that Frasier had been more like Niles, and indeed early Frasier on Cheers was a bit more Niles-like, so he reverted a bit to type for his first years home in Seattle. Then re-mellowed. In addition to creating Niles, they either redesigned the idea of his father or retconned Frasier as having lied about him once on Cheers. On Cheers he once said his father had been a scientist. They made him a retired cop. And cast John Mahoney, who once played a manic washed up ad man on Cheers, hired to write a jingle for the bar. Cy Flembeck. They also changed the idea of Frasier's mother, who was a rather angry older woman once on Cheers, who threatened Diane Chambers with death, or near as much. On Frasier, she was retconned into being dead for years but on the whole a lovely woman, fondly remembered. I think there was a callback to that on Frasier when Diane showed up, or maybe one of Frasier's dream sequences in which Diane and mother both appeared, except the mother was played by the actress Rita Wilson not the one who appeared on Cheers. At least I think it was Wilson. They also created the idea Frasier was from Seattle- I don't think that was mentioned on Cheers at all.
You could see Bebe trying not to laugh as she set that first shoe up on the counter. I love her stifled reactions.
One of the best Cheers episodes ever!
If the master were here with us today...after striking Lilith...lol
Tambourine.Tambourine.Tambourine.Tambourine.Tambourine.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
"Frasier, I've had nothing to drink."
"AH! The worst kind of drunk!!"
Norm would agree 😅. 🤓😎✌🏻
Mark & Brian, the concerned onlookers at the bar
"ooOOOooo....."
You know what he said
'They should have left out the kale'.
That wasn't the whole thing
Right!? One word...TRACTOR
If Freud were here today, after striking Lilith,, Oh Man! LMAO!!
Seeing Lilith gives me a strange urge to watch a Robert Palmer video ~
S. Freud is not always wrong. In some cases he is right. Lilith's reaction and Fraiser saying lucrative are the best part. Lilith is overacting.
Wow. That is about the worst video and audio quality ever.
