I worked in the Motorola Automotive division that made those talking dash clusters, (among other things). Used to hear that voice constantly in the lab. Our test car was a LeBaron GTS 5 Speed FWD w/turbo, a fast car for its time but the turbo hit all at once and the resultant torque steer was entertaining as hell. We each got to drive it for a week at a time.

This ABSOLUTELY, positively has to become a yearly event!! Re-bury it and next year sell tickets to the UNBARON. Have a drawing for as many folks as the the Wizard is willing to have at his home. Pitch a party tent, display the Hoopties, make it a car themed Halloween costume Soirée. Get it started and make a prerequisite of attendance that each attendee bring a part for the car so that it will start the following year. Do it!!

No seize up engine, a good working starter, no corroded ground. Of course, it needs starter fluid to get it started but this is impressive. Please, clean it a bit, throw some secondhand tires on it, a battery and take it for a spin! Of course on private land. Would love to see a review of this thing; how it handles, brakes (or doesn't), what works (and what obviously doesn't work). You would be the first car reviewer that ever in history reviewed a car after it was buried!

I owned an '87 Plymouth Caravelle that was similar to the LeBaron. The car gave me 3 1/2 years of misery, so seeing this LeBaron tortured like this is quite cathartic.
Tyler's the type of guy to:
- spend too much on a car
- spend too much to ship it
- spend too much to "fix" it
- spend too much to bury it
- spend too much to dig it back out again

That’s a unibody. There’s no frame. There’s a subframe attached to the front, but the bumper proved it would’ve destroyed anything they would’ve attached the chain to.
Most cheap cars don’t have frames. The body is what hold it together pretty much but some cars have a sub frame.
