I really like the way you utilize the google earth footage while you tell these stories. Especially as a non Canadian, it's incredibly helpful to have the context and orientation. This next comment doesnt apply as much for this video, but when you do videos talking about similar legends in a specific region, being able to get a feel for how close or spread out sightings and variations occur is a really essential addition that i didnt know i needed and dont see in the few other similar channels I watch.
NICE! a 2 1/2 video! I was just re-listening to some of your stories while I work on some of my art. This is my favorite RUclips channel! I've been listening for awhile & I just joined. I love listening to the stories of Canada's mysteries. So fascinating . My favorites are cryptic stories, especially Sasquatch & the Nahani Valley. I also love how much attention you give to the First Nations people. They've had so much taken from them 😢😡😢. I could listen to your voice for hours, actually I do! 😂 thank you thank you for all your hard work in putting these videos together! Because of you, I want to visit Canada in the next year or 2. I'm in the planning stages, deciding where I want to go. Again, thank you for inspiring me & keeping my ears busy listening with these fascinating stories ❤
I do love listening to this narrator talking about the off-the-beaten-path Canadian stories - even when I've heard him tell them before in different collections.

On Oak Island there have been reports of a black dog, so black it is darker than the night when spotted, with red eyes, as tall as a 5.5--6 foot tall man and sometimes gives off an odor of sulphur. David Blankenship, who lives on the island, has been one of the people who has seen it
The Charles Camsell’s no longer abandoned, it’s almost done being converted into apartment units and the grounds are having more townhouses and apartments built on it. I was surprised how close to finished they were on the actual building when I swung by a couple of months ago. I’d never buy or rent anything there.
My grandfather worked at that hospital for 30 years after the 2nd world war. I never heard any stories from him. However; 35 years later, my son worked there as well doing reclamation work. They would put there tools down at night. in the morning they'd be moved. They'd put down hammers at lunch when they came back the hammers would be gone. Once or twice they'd never were found.
I lived just a few blocks over from the shell of the Camsell Hospital (when they were gutting it) back in 2014. I always had trouble breathing when walking by the property; like something was crushing my lungs. I'd feel dread whenever I was anywhere near that building.
I've been to many of these places and lived nearby a couple. I never noticed anything remarkable. Quite a few ghosts here and there, but that's a regular thing.
Hey Hammerson I would like to bring to your attention, in one of the most recently videos of the IMPOSSIBLE CHANNEL, James Lefleur show one video about two french bikers while in a hike hear a scream coming from an underpass. They quickly approach with the intention of helping what they thought to be someone in distress but it happens to be a disembodied voice screaming. The whole incident has been caught on camera, could be a hoax or not but it is exactly the same phenomena as the first you mention. EDIT: wow talking about coincidence as I finished to write this comment James has uploaded a new video so I think is the previous one from this.
Just did a backpack in strathcona park. Had crazy feelings of claustrophobia. We were in a very tight valley to see della falls. Pretty close to the 3 missing hiker cases. Definetly aomething in those woods.
Ah, I'm getting flashbacks to has a kid watching the tv show Creepy Canada has a child. That show used to scare me and my younger siblings all the time when we would watch it together. So many ghost stories reenacted on it was very creepy to watch on that show has a child. I have hear some of these tales and places from Creep Canada or books about haunted Canada from many different books. I'm a proud Canadian! Great job on the video! I'm from Sudbury, Ontario, Canada!
I was listening to this and decided to look up the Banff Hotel haunting in Room 873. It appears that the Room door was walled off but it was simply extended and Room 875 is also former 873 where the bed is on the wall where the door would have been and people knock constantly 😄 Anyway, some paranormal activity as I scroll and then suddenly I see your post from 2015, Hammerson telling someone to knock back. 😂
The Rideau Regional Center, now Gallipeau Center, used to be home to an Airsoft venue called Siloki, They used to host a Wednesday game night running from 9pm until 1 am. My friend and i would go often and the experiences we had were absolutely bone chilling. One occasion we both heard a disembodied voice tell us to "GET OUT" in a muffled scream. Often we heard footsteps, doors slamming shut, knocking on walls and bone chilling cold spots that would make your hair stand on end. sometimes we would find ourselves perusing opponents who's shadows and figures we could see in the dimly lit rooms and hall ways, only to find they had vanished. these experiences were fear inducing, and at times would cause us to leave early, feeling unwelcome in the building.
Hi. I worked at the Whitby Psychiatric Hospital from 1985 to 2001 as a Registered Practical Nurse. I remember the old buildings. They were creepy. One story in particular was at night while I worked the night shift in Building 25. Building 25 was a two storey building. The upper floor was vacant for years. Every night I was on nights at a certain time the elevator would start going up and down. Despite bringing professionals in to figure out what was going on with the elevator, noone could explain why the elevator moved at night. There were tunnels underneath those buildings as well. Building 32 in the video was known as the powerhouse (I think)
i was born in Feb of 1993 in charles camsell hospital and was diagnosed with asthma in 95 before the hospital officially and permanently closed its doors in 96.. now its being renovated into a seniors home now if i recollect or some kind of an apartment complex
The 2 Swiss Air Memorials in Nova Scotia are thick with a strong spiritual essence and emotion. I don't know if they are the creepiest places in Canada but they are thick with overwhelming sadness and a strong feeling of lives cut short and purpose remaining unfulfilled. Swiss Air Flight 111 crashed in the water near Peggy's Cove Nova Scotia during the evening hours of Sept 2nd 1998. Flight 111 is frequently referred to as the UN Shuttle since so many gifted people were on the aircraft and died in the crash. I love visiting Oak Island but Peggy's Cove and Bayswater are more profound places. Personally it has been my experience that Bayswater is very active spiritually and I recommend not finding yourself at this monument alone. At least if you are sensitive in a certain way. I recommend bringing flowers or children's toys. If you are prayerful then please prayerfully express yourself in a quiet voice since this is a peaceful place.
