    Before everyone gets too excited, don’t forget that macOS Sonoma only supports Xcode 15+

      That is definitely a good note for this point in time. Thanks for sharing!

    Thank you, it really helped and now I can easily work on xcode 14.3.1 on macOS Sonoma

    The problem is will the old xcode like I need 13.2.1 for my old M1 with BigSur, work with the new appstore, like I know it will only work devoleping up to ios15, but will it let me put that app in the applestore, will it let me apply the new regulations and verifications, or will be a waste of time and be forced to go with Sequoia just for the new xcode

      As of May 2025 apps need to be built against Xcode 16

    Hello! I encountered a problem with squeezing permissions on Android 13 for memory and notifications. Can you tell me how to do this?

    Thanks for this!! I am not sure if this message will reach you.. I am developing a MAUI app. Is there any guidelines to be followed in XAML development so that my screen works fine with all mobile screen sizes?

    • @jfversluis
      @jfversluis  Год назад

      All sizes are specified in device independent pixels so everything should mostly scale automatically for you

      @@jfversluis thanks a lot for the response. That means we dont want to worried about Ui scaling up on 4.5 inches screen vs 6.7 screen

    I am on macOs 14 and when I try to revert back to Xcode 14, it says that it is incompatible with my version of macOs and will not let me open it. Is there a workaround for this, or an easy way to downgrade my macOs?

    • @jfversluis
      @jfversluis  6 месяцев назад

      Unfortunately, on macOS 14 you can only run Xcode 15 and up indeed. I’m not sure of any easy ways to downgrade macOS itself

      @@jfversluis Yeah I found out pretty much the same after digging int it more. Luckily, I was able to fix my Xcode issues by downgrading to 15.1 from 15.3, and using 14 was not even necessary. I really appreciate this video. My problem would have taken a lot longer to solve if I had not seen it.
