    I have mine for 2 weeks now.
    Actually the bike HAS a cable throttle. The engine just says hello right from the beginning. I'm able to ride it smooth, but I'm reeaaallly gentle with the throttle.
    I'd say if you like the modern retro design and want a simple and nimble bike for daily use with a fun and reliable engine you will be really happy. Also a good naked bike for people bigger than 6ft. - good seatheight and upright sitting

    I have had mine since 2018 and it still makes me smile. Can easily be modded to suit your needs. engine is great. Most change the sewing machine exhaust. Nice review

    I want to like the looks of this bike but it just looks like it was put together from spare parts. And, now I can't unsee the missing side panel. Thanks for the review

    Good looking bike!
    Can’t go wrong with a Yamaha. 👍

      Besides the round headlight, I see absolutely nothing "good looking" about what looks like a collection of miscellaneous parts thrown together.

    This is a good review, I like the honest opinions on it. You make good points on the looks. I've never owned a yamaha -did the Kawa, suzuki, honda but was looking at this, as its that time of year! Its on closeout though for hella cheap, so I had to take a look at some of the reviews! Thanks

      It's 95% glamour shots , hardly a good review , if I wanted bike photos and a few stats I could easily look that up , tyvm.

    This video reminds me of the old MotorWeek style content -- which is a good thing. Subscribed.
    I am looking for a "Below 10k, Best Bang for Buck Motos" video by the way. 😉

    hi there! i really like this bike, but i think is a little small.i havent seen from close, but i think its small.i m 5.10.how tall are you?also, you think would be good for a lady pillion for short rides?

    • @roadrunnermag
      @roadrunnermag  6 месяцев назад +1

      Rider is around 5'11" - it is a smaller bike size, but seat height from the ground is still fairly tall. Pillion seat is very small. It would be OK for short rides but is not the best option for a passenger.

      As an asian dude with 5’6’’ thats a pretty neat bike all around from commuting and travel (coz in our SEA countries, not much high speed roads in here) 700 is a pretty good power and torque!

    5:13 😂 these don't have modern day fly by wire throttle!
    These are still cable operated WHICH IS A GOOD THING IMO 💪🏼

      You can call it either way, it depends how fast you are riding.
