Your style has grown on me. Top among the things I love about your videos are your genuine love of the game, and your willingness to be vulnerable to thousands of strangers. It helps me, personally, to hear you talk about your struggles between the ears, and your resolve to forge on through them. Good on ya' for making a go of it on RUclips.
I'm moving from dry, hot, ugly Texas to 10 minutes away from this course next year and between this and Horning's Hideout and Milo McIver I'm freaking pumped.
Got to play this for the first time last month when in Portland for work. Thank you Bishop (local) for showing me your course and for the great round! My all time favorite course I have ever played.
Hey congrats on becoming a dad! I've got a 7 month old and have been loving taking her out for rounds during the day. One thing i wanted to mention. I've been searching for disc golf content specifically good players playing at pier park that talk about the shots and the course but didnt find yours until randomly i checked your channel and saw the thumbnail. Not sure if it would help the SEO to put the name of the course in the title or tag it in description but i would've watched this earlier but for whatever reason it didnt show up even though it was the exact content i was looking for. All the best!
What a beautiful course! And that Sphinx throw on hole 14 was just sick! Thanks for shooting so much disc golf content. Keeps me psyched to get out there and play, even though it's over 100 degrees almost every day still, here in Tucson, AZ. 🥵
I recently moved away from the Portland area right after just starting to get serious about disc golf. Got as many rounds in at Pier as I could. What a course.
Love your content Bodanza! keep up the good work! Also, it's insane for me to watch a course like this feeling empty and silent... Here where I live in Norway - from 9-10am every day until the sun sets - a course like this is packed. On the weekends there is no point even to play, and making content or even just measuring shots / throwing more than 1 throw is impossible.
Something else about the square is it’s a nice baseline to provide a gauge so you know where to make corrections. Same for me with the angle I noticed once I squared up I can tweak as needed (or not and just make it simple silly)
Hey Anthony! Loved the preview of this course. You mentioned on hole 7 you thought the disc you were throwing with was more over stable, at lower elevations discs become more understable! I figure you’ve heard this, I just played in Leadville today and it’s incredible how dg at 10000 feet makes my discs impossible to flip
Dang Anthony, wish I knew you were in town. Don't know how you manage to get around in at Pier without running into a bunch of people. Especially midday. On a beautiful summer day. Glad you did. Safe travels and good luck to you on that q series tournament.
I feel like the mistake i make most often when im uncertain about my putts is that shoulder commit. Square up but commiting the shoulder towards the basket almost eliminated misses to the right completely for me!
Bro! Been there in July and OMG this is the best course I've ever played... I live in Montreal so we dont really have those kind of courses around lmao
What you said on 6 about how you need to change your aim point at the edge of circle seems to be correct but you should watch Gannon again. When he gets around edge of circle his warmup strokes are a lot more stern and emphasized. You should have your same aim point out to like 40 feet just more wrist and snap longer out. You will get in more trouble adjusting your aim point around the circle than you will controlling your wrist and projection at a center target. In short give a couple over emphasized pumps that almost rip the disc out of your fingers. That should be the feeling outside the circle for a straight at it putt.
This is just my opinion, you can talk about this on another video during the off season. As a new ( 62 year old ) disc golfer that practices religiously, I have been watching a variety of disc golf content. Looking at how the Pro Tour does things has me very worried. :( The point of growing the game is to draw in as many new players as possible, both to play recreationally, and even professionally and going " on tour"!? The absolute worst thing to do is to make it more + more difficult for players ( young and up 'n coming players ) to afford to play events and just simply participate. Making it more difficult for players to $cash$ at any event is just simply idiotic. The lower rated a player is the less that they should pay for a registration fee to enter an event. We do not want disc golf to become a sport that excludes players from competing. Congratulations on the birth of your child
I love this format. Couple quiet holes but actually going deep into talking about your life very therapeutic.

😆I was just thinking how in the past month I've played, Dabney, Pier, Milo, Timber, Blue Lake, and Hornings Canyon and Meadows. Life is good.
As you should be. I live here, and those courses--and a number of other notables--really are all that and a bag of chips. You'll be in heaven.
Real fun watching you play one of my favorite courses in Portland!
The CINEMATOGRAPHY I WAS NOT EXPECTING. WONDERFUL!

Love the asmr stretch 😂😂
It's been fun watching your first foray into the pro tour this year. Thanks for all the effort you put into these videos!
Thank you for making my home course look so good.
Wow that sphinx shot at 17:30 was money!
So glad you were able to play this course before you left. Was hopeful you’d find the time for it. Hope to see you back here next year!
Yes good job I aced the top of the world shot felt like 1 in a million! Thanks for coming to oregon and showing g off the beautiful courses!

Always great to see the king at local courses

I never thought I would love the sound of a sweaty, out of breath man, but damn it Bodanza, you got me...
Played pier park while on vacation in Oregon a few weeks ago! Such a beautiful and amazing course.
Yooooo this is one of my home courses! My best here is +6, super stoked you got to enjoy it
This course films incredible! I love playing here❤
One of my favorite courses to play.

Nature showing thru and you not reputting when you missed from the same spot is a plus since you've talked about not doing that.

Dude I think you just fixed my putt aiming woes!
Could you do how you Putter your Technique your thought and longer distance ?👍🏻
Congrat’s on becoming a DAd! 🎉
Always a good day to be blessed with another Bodadza drop.
My first time there I aced hole 12 long. 328'. I love that course!
would have loved to thrown with you this course is just down the road for me

What’s going on at the Badlands? Heard there pulling the course???
17:25 I’m just here for the grunting sounds
Oh and the heavy nose breathing
I can't believe you had a legit look on 15. I have never seen someone make circle 1.

Getting 15 is a huge get. I wanted that putt to go in so bad. At 2024 RCO, only one person got it in the long position.
My home course, I consider myself very lucky!
Before the haircut but not before the haircut
I am very worried about the direction that the Pro Tour is taking this wonderful sport.
Putting is a lot mental.
Nice intro!
Bodadza is needed on the Daily Feed!
Perfect timiing for a bodanza vid.
