    Actually very helpful guide. So many guides out there are so surface level, how to use special, how to block, impractical combo compilations. True guide like this one is so underrated

    The segment on baiting DP was really informative and must watch for anyone trying to up there offense

    Watched the whole thing. Incredibly helpful as someone who has never played another fighting game. The long form explanation is especially helpful like the part on DPs

      So glad you found it helpful! Very happy to see newer players into fighting games. Was worried the long form would make it drag too much.

    There def were a couple of things I wasn't aware of that I will be implementing into my game plan so thank you! Unfortunately though it seems like I was already aware of a lot of these things yet I'm still hard stuck S5 so that a little worrying for me. I hope one day it can all just click for me so I can break through.

    Hey so there is a tough situation that im not too sure on when it comes to coming back. lets say You are 90%hp 1 brave point. I am 20%hp 1 brave point. You have 30 meter, i have 100 meter.
    Am i stupid to use my awakening special to be at 3 points and have you at 0? Like say its a belial mirror and we are both completely neutral. Is this completely situational or is it better to use ultimate skills Take more life*/dump meter for damage

    • @dinguspunch2379
      @dinguspunch2379  7 месяцев назад

      As long as you are using the super when you can confirm it. Throwing it out randomly is ill advised, but comboing into SSBA and "cashing in" is always good, especially since it ruins their gem economy.

    • @affinity601
      @affinity601 7 месяцев назад

      alright nice to know, tyvm! and yeah completely in a combo but meter dumping on low life for gems

    What...What is Delayed 5L. Like you "delay" the use of 5 L?what is the difference with just doing 5L at different time? It feels like there is specikfic way to do 5L but you didn't say how. I am confused all the while

    • @dinguspunch2379
      @dinguspunch2379  7 месяцев назад

      Yes sorry if it wasn't totally clear. you delay the usage of 5L so that if they are grabbing you, you can use the mash tech as an option. If they do something do bait your grab like a jump or dash back, you are hitting 5L which is quick to recover instead of the long grab whif animation. It still loses to things like frame traps but 5L is very useful.

    Just for my clarification - in the 66L section I'm not sure what "Stuff it" means. Could you please elaborate on that?

    • @dinguspunch2379
      @dinguspunch2379  6 месяцев назад +1

      Sure thing. When I say “stuff it” I mean to put out a hitbox preemptively to catch the other player’s attack or movement. This usually works well with moves with high priority or decently large hitboxes. Most characters, 5M or 2M are good buttons for “stuffing” their approach. Especially since they are generally not super committal. This just reminded me how abstract some fighting game terminology can be lol.

      @romie233 6 месяцев назад

      @@dinguspunch2379Awesome! Thanks for explaining that. I see I have more research to do on Dustloop to see what other moves besides 5M or 2M can fit that bill. :)

      Better yet, you can use training mode to setup the situation (either have the cpu 66L you or vice versa) and just test which button can stuff it @@romie233
