Thank you for saying Eustace isn't a zoner! It always felt like he wanted to be at mid-range or in your face and I'm glad that feeling wasn't misplaced. I've been looking for something more in-depth because I'm having a hard time adapting to Rising from Versus, so I appreciate this a lot :D
Great guide. In case anyone in the future watches this vid, I got a tidbit for the Eustace-Lucilius matchup. You can react to all pf his teleport animations with L Dash -> DP. It catches all options.
@kerzy-q9794 34:23 There IS one niche use I found with Eustace Dash H, though. He can slide underneath fireballs. When you do hit your opponent it's always a counter hit due to the distance that you can slide under and hit the opponent.
This is the first character I was interested in playing in GBVR but I am straight dogshit at games so he looked way too hard for me. This makes him look more approachable so I think I will try to pick him up and practice more. Thanks!
thanks for this video, I got rising gifted to me by a friend and Eustace seemed really cool since I used to be a Snake main in smash always played a really aggro snake so i'll be interested in seeing if i can play eustace in a similar manner

I've been interested in trying Eustace out for a while now but have felt scared off due to others saying they're a zoner, which isn't really my type of playstyle, combined with some minor misunderstanding of how their tools interact with one another. It's really reassuring to hear they're this seemingly mid-range to pressure monster which is right up my alley. As an aside, would it be possible for you to include chapter timestamps in the video to help navigate around it? With such a long video like this it would be great to be able to more easily jump around to find info to come back to, like your explanation of how to apply Eustace's kit and links to stay at that optimal mid-screen spacing for example.
