A lot of us Record Monza owners have our exhaust valve siezed closed, a very common issue. Might be worthwhile making a video on how to get it loose as there isn't great sources of guides out there.
If you have to replace shocks on a bog standard 500 don’t replace with anything other than gas filled ones . The difference in ride and handling is very noticeable . We had to replace the original rear shocks at 30k miles and four years . Out garage suggested the gas filled ones ( not Bilstein or the like just good quality ones ) and so pleased they did. Cost wasn’t much over cheaper ones either
@@fatwalletboy2 I did it to my mum's Triumph Herald when I was eleven... I bent it out again and stayed quiet.... and anyway I got into real trouble when I bent the bonnet a few weeks later🙄🙄🙄
@@ItaliaAutos👍 KONI was the OEM supplier for FCA on this pocket rocket. Active damping making it more comfortable as well as sporty, bi-fold characteristic these dampers have 😉
@@ItaliaAutos Yes but there is beauty in reduction. For me the ultimate car would have all the special bits one dreams of but still built in a form that is as minimal as can be. Like one of the old english affordable sportscars or a Fiat X1.9.
Was it my eyes, or is the ramp lift arm near the driver’s door crushing the side skirt? Something looking to be bent there. Just watched it again at 1:20 looks to also be lifted on the sill! Hopefully someone can correct me! 🤞🏽
Thanks nice video like always best regards from Finland
Thanks for watching.

Good stuff.
People who crush sills with jacks or lifts should be put against a wall and shot lol.

it is a good gun.
@@ItaliaAutos When I watched your review I made up my mind to get one my air one is crap !!!
I wish they were all that easy Neil :-)
Is the owner not having rear discs and pads also ?.
yes done at the same time. video on front pads and discs coming later this week.
Hi I am a new subscriber love the videos jus wondering is it possible to do the cam belt on a fiat coupe without removing the engine mounts
Unfortunately not. you can only change the belt and cant take anything else off.
Great car and easily serviceable shock absorbers. Love Fiat 😍
Couldn't agree more!
Would have been nice to know which replacement shocks were chosen and why....
Just as close to the same as customer could get. Koni again

Hi, do you know the name or number part of the rubber where the suspension seats on the rear axle?
Nope sorry.
Why not power tools on suspension components?
due to the risk of cross threading due to dirty and rusty parts.
Perfect minimalism! Not much more complex then the suspension on a Vespa.
simple cars.

It was close but not touching. If you saw the last abarth video I talked about it.
Job well done 👏
I thought shockers were done in pairs, I'm sure you did both Neil.
yes i did both and they where both well past it.
If you looked very carefully you could see the other new red shocker in the video.
Why is the car so rusty?
i wouldnt say the car but the rear subframe is because its made of cheap Chinese metal.
Pretty normal in cold countries.
I don’t think it’s too bad. Mostly surface rust.
Is that a 164 in the background Neil?,
155
@@ItaliaAutos Should have gone to specsavers ;0)
Sorry Neil....gotta dash lol. Blink and youll miss it.....
👍😜
Won't be long before it's in getting that N/S rear shock done😁
It’s been done. Spot the bright red Koni 😏
