- In this tutorial I walk you through setting up OBS Studio to live stream to KICK Streaming. You can follow these steps for Streamlabs Desktop, X-Split, etc.
Chapters:
- Intro: 00:00
- Get your Kick Streamkey: 0:10
- Paste the streamkey into OBS or Streamlabs: 00:22
- Check output settings: 0:58
- Outro: 2:30

@@CreoVox on twitch obs streamelements you have twitch activity panel on the right and twitch chat on the right. Can you do this with obs studio? Have a kick activity panel on the right and kick chat on the left?
Oh. I thought that what you meant, but wanted to make sure. So I use custom docks in obs studio. So I use SE.Live which is a plug-in for streamelements and obs studio. Then I use custom docks to add in the kick chat so I have two chats. Now as for doing a custom dock for the activity feed on kick it doesn't let you. Even though you can pop out the activity feed, copy the link, and paste it into the dock, it still wont display it.
@@CreoVox i added a custom dock and added the kick dashboard url and logged in in the dock. I hid the stream preview and i can see kick chat. Kick activity feed (new followers) and mod actions and everything you see on the kick dashboard.
oh! didnt think to try that! Good to know that there is a work around.
Ive done this over and over yet the stream never goes live and obs keeps disconnecting and reconnecting.
Could be an issue with your streamkey or internet
@@CreoVox lol na mine does this same shit ....Streamlabs works flawlessly with kick .....but OBS refuses to connect
Ive had zero issues using obs studio. never disconnects for me, so im not sure why it disconnects for you. But hey at least you got it working with streamlabs.

do i have to log out of twitch on slobs before i can stream to KICK? doesnt work
You will have to go to settings > stream and sign out of twitch then set it to custom. Then put in the rtmp server and streamkey for kick
@@CreoVox Awesome! Ive just done that! Would i need to sign back in using twitch? Or leave as it is?
@Killswitch_27_VODs just leave it as is. Since kick isn't integrated yet you won't get an activity feed or anything but you can get your alerts and stuff working by using botrix. I have a bunch of tutorials for botrix in the kick playlist on the channel
