Did the editor of the video realize that the spread they showed for the full choke pattern is wider than the modified pattern? Like as if they made a mistake and showed the wrong examples.
The graphics are greatly exaggerated. In fact, the pellets don't spread until they come out of the muzzle thanks to the wad that wraps around them, so they don't hit the wall inside the barrel.
I don't use my shotgun for hunting, I use it for defense. 870 Marine magnum with cylinder bore and bead. Loaded with #4 buck for close encounters of the unwanted kind.

Depends on your use? You probably dont want to shoot skeet with a full, but trap would be fine. Probably 7.5 or 8 for most clay and dove, and longer shots drop to 6. Hunting bigger birds like pheasant, ducks etc. Drop to 4. The brand of load you would use depends on what your gun patterns best with. Need to test each load through your gun to know what it likes. Each gun is different.

Some states insist you can only use steel shot. I guess you could pull them out with magnets?
