I haven't touched Sim4 in ages but wow the improvements you made to "Dine out" is fantastic. That is how EA should have done in the bloody first place to be honest. That crowd control with sims not stealing other people's table food and etc is a much needed fix. And also, my condolences for your loss. I hope you are well and take care.

Happy to be back! So many weird bugs in Sims 4 that interfere with Dine Out. A lot of the pack code is fine it just needs rescue attempts when the game goes awry.

I know it's been a while since the death, but grieving is a long and difficult process - take the time you need, even now, to take breaks and tend to your own well-being both physically and mentally! Sitting at a computer/desk is one of the worst things FOR the human body, and you've already had neck/shoulder issues, so be gentle with yourself! (And thank you for all the hard work you've put into basically completely re-making Dine Out! It's finally worthy of a AAA game...sad for EA, but excellent for you.)

I definitely still see potential in the pack's code and how you could take certain things a bit further, like buffets. I really like the player being able to do stuff. It feels more realistic to have a manager checking in on tables and maybe helping out with things here and there. Like, you could throw up another chef station and only hire one and help out when the main chef is slammed with orders.

Sorry about your mom. Glad you took some time for self care. I suffer from chronic pain myself. Hang in there and take it a day at a time. I lost a friend myself recently who felt like a family member despite not being blood related. Mourning is a process, so glad you are taking the time to process the emotions. Plus spoon theory blog is a great story to explain to friends when pain happens.
You're AWESOME Carl... Regardless of the hardships, keep on surrounding yourself with things and people that heal you! I've also lost my mom, and being a fresh dad, I can say your mom would love to know (in case she didn't in life) how many people enjoy something you've made!

I forgot I was subbed to this channel. I don’t play the sims 4 anymore but maybe one day I will reinstall it. The mod does look cool and vanilla dine out did feel undercooked. as usual modders have to save this game.
No doubt a lot of my subs have moved on from the game! It's been a while and it's not in the best place right now with bugs. Not sure if it ever really has been but it feels kinda rocky and too quiet atm.
@@CarlsSimGuidesI can’t say I’m surprised the sims 4 is still full of bugs. If I was to get back into the sims I would more likely playing the sims 3 again. I have all dlc(excluding the katy Perry one) and just need a handful of essential nrass mods to have fun playing the game.

Sorry about your mom. Glad you took some time for self care. I suffer from chronic pain myself. Hang in there and take it a day at a time. I lost a friend myself recently who felt like a family member despite not being blood related. Mourning is a process, so glad you are taking the time to process the emotions. Plus spoon theory blog is a great story to explain to friends when pain happens.

Sending condolences to you. I lost my mom right before her birthday around this time last year. I'm right there with you. I truly hope you can do as well as you can. Give yourself care and be patient with yourself. I feel like losing a mom is always going to suck, but like, I have some good days now. I wish you good days. I forgot I was subbed to this channel. I don’t play the sims 4 anymore but maybe one day I will reinstall it.
The mod does look cool and vanilla dine out did feel undercooked. as usual modders have to save this game.
No doubt a lot of my subs have moved on from the game! It's been a while and it's not in the best place right now with bugs. Not sure if it ever really has been but it feels kinda rocky and too quiet atm.
@@CarlsSimGuidesI can’t say I’m surprised the sims 4 is still full of bugs. If I was to get back into the sims I would more likely playing the sims 3 again. I have all dlc(excluding the katy Perry one) and just need a handful of essential nrass mods to have fun playing the game.
