A lot of gamers have been wondering how to leave Iki Island in Ghost of Tsushima after diving headfirst into the new content and finding themselves unable to leave the island. This can be frustrating if you've left a bunch of stuff on the main map of Tsushima Island that you want to return to. Naturally, people want to know how to get off Iki Island in Ghost of Tsushima.
In Ghost of Tsushima, you can either complete the story missions or use fast travel by zooming out the map and looking northwest of Iki island. That is something you should keep in mind before visiting Iki Island. Once you start the "Journey into the Past" mission and arrive at the area, you won't be able to leave until you complete all of the story missions. That’s what I said on my previous video.

i recommend you to finish the main island first to keep the storyline canonical.

I entered on accident too right after saving dudes uncle finished everything other then the shrines because I physically can’t but everything else was a breeze

is there not a way to do it without fast ravel? i got there on a boat...kind of...i should be able o leave on a boat. fast travel breaks the immersion.

I recently got this game and saw things about iki island and somewhere i saw you couldnt return and i thought you would just have to have 2 save files but this is really reliving, thanks, now i know i can return once i finish both islands
it would be better if you finish the main story fist before playing the DLC so both story would be canonical.

What is the last playable mission on iki island? I did the caretakers of the eagle as the last mission but can’t find anything else to play after that mission on iki island?

Hi Guys, so I started playing GOS just a week ago and i was about to complete my 2nd ACT when I entered IKI Island without knowing this needs to be played at last😂. I searched a lot about how to go back and couldn't find it. But, I found one solution to it.
The game auto saves backups so I just looked at backups and entered one which was saved 10 mins ago.

how do you set this game in ps5 to make it look more beautiful and soft for the color of this game....how do you have HDR settings??
i just use the default settings but i believe i turned off the HDR.
Probably because his monitor is better thats usually the differnce but try changing the contrast od your monitor

I came to iki island unknowingly with just 4 resolve hp a little more than the resolve length 😂, i defeated Black hand riku and Eagle with upgraded armour and sword 😅

It shouldn't be allowed this campaign to be access before the game ended. I entered the island in the middle of ACT 2 without knowing and there is spoiler of the ending of the game. I don't know if I want to continue the game now because I don't want get spoiled but restarting from scratch after so much done is not interesting.
at least they should warn us players before proceed to Iki Island.

There is a way to leave IKI ISLAND.
I’ve done it by way on my initial first play through of it.
Once I have reached half way through IKI island and was coming up way SHORT of supplies ect. ect. ect.???
I WAS ABLE TO *FAST* TRAVEL BACK TO TSUSHIMA VIA THE TEMPLES AND RESOURCE LOCATIONS FOR SUPPLIES located in the completed map portions of Tsushima. To go back and forth as many times as you need.
Easily.

I am well equipped and almost full strength right now then i accidently entered iki not knowing i couldn't return. I am able to defeat enemies there also although they are tougher than tsushima. But as a storyline enthusiast it was irritating, but here on iki island after getting captured jin says i have killed khotun khan which i have not, so it was spoilery and inconsistent. Although i know jin will kill khotun but this breaks the flow. i want to return to tsushima. This video helped. Thanks a lot. But what a great game, i never get bored of it. I just straf here and there on my kage (i chose this name for my horse) take hot spring relax make haiku and whatnot.
they should put a warning before players go to Iki Island. it''s kind of paradox if you haven't finished the main story.
@@omrobby actually there was a warning but i didnt give much attention to it. I thought it was a side quest or something. Warning should be like, play it only after completing main storyline or should disable it completely and enable only after finishing main story
One solution that worked for me, if you by chance enter iki island before completing the main game. Just go back to the title screen and see the backup saves! Try loading all of the saves and figure out when you were last in tsushima before entering IKI. Hope this helps!
that's the best solution if you immediately realize that this DLC is not supposed to play earlier in the game, but if you have been exploring Iki island about a couple of hour it might be too late since your save file migh be overwritten.
If you fast travel to Tsushima can you fast travel back to iki?

bruh i though it was a part of main story . i completed a lot of exploration in the island strugling with enemies they are a way stronger . then i found out that this is a dlc meant to be for end game 💀.

The new island is interesting but I don't like the way they're going with the combat relying on more unblockable attacks that just require you to dodge over and over and over.
The mystical aspect is okay but I prefer hardcore military objectives over fantasy and the game still desperately needs a grapple in order to break up the typical sword fighting combat with indicator lights... all those goofy indicator lights are reality busting and allow too much room for computer cheating
Instead of the big flash of light they ought to Simply have attacks that have momentum behind them (like the hammer or the ax) as "unblockable" and fast attacks like sword and spear should never be "unblockable" however you cant just stand there and block because of grapples, it would be cool if they added a stamina plus "blade integrity" meter to force more realistic tactics!
The first and second island were absolute brilliance however I started to see a little more laziness in the third island however the expansion pack sealed the deal on my theory that this game was moving in the wrong direction
Too much fantasy not enough hardcore military objectives and a combat system that leaves the door open for computer cheating rather than a nice clean clear cut gameplay where it's obvious what's unblockable because the attacks are slow, sweeping and performed by heavy weapons a sword couldn't block anyway.
I certainly hope they get the game tightened up for the sequel cuz it could become a really cool multiplayer fighter however the expansion pack exposed some of its worst tendencies.
i agree. the Mongolian soldiers still wandering around the island after Khotun Khan is dead just doesn't make sense. the best thing about the DLC is the story of Jin's past. but i don't think this game needs a sequel.
@@omrobby they could come up with a new narrative about Breakaway Warlords trying to take over the khans Invasion but I'm not so into the story I'm more into the logistics of the action
I have to agree with you on the combat system, it gets really frustrating especially if you play on Hard difficulty.
@@Kruz3r it's extraordinarily easy IF you just dodge every time but that becomes repetitive and the most awesome features are predicated on getting the parry. Getting that move to work can be very difficult especially when enemies can use a fast unblockables multiple times in a row
I think i found out the fastest way hahaha just load your most recent automatic save in the loading screen and you can back to your last save but still iki island is open and you can travel fast there in the survivors coast..
it was fun in tiki island with low armor it's so challenging boss is 1 hit and i died (in hard difficulty) it's really test my parry and dodge technique
