- With Aladdin just being released in theaters, who remembers this little thing? It's the 1987 horror flick The Lamp, also known as The Outing. Directed by Tom Daley, this film told the story of a lamp with a genie trapped inside of it. Only this one does not look like Will Smith!

I remember this movie! The death scenes freaked me out as a kid! LOL!
Oh, wow, I think I may have seen this on TV late at night as a kid and could never remember anything else except the green glow. I was JUST thinking of that the other day, too, wishing I could find out what it was called.
I saw this once as a kid, when it first hit vhs. Walked in the back room and my grandma, her homegirl Connie and they friends were smokin joints and watching it. I remember the part where the guy got his head twisted vividly but never knew the name of the movie until recently.
Dat Figaro tho.
That's crazy. I've never heard of this one. I definitely need to check it out though. It looks freaking amazing.
