- Creepy old ladies have always been the stuff of nightmares. So which old woman was scarier: the old woman from the 1963 Mario Bava movie Black Sabbath (aka I Tre Volti della Paura) or the old woman (Ingrid Mortimer) from It Follows by David Robert Mitchell? The choice is yours!
In this new series - Who Did It Better - TheSpringwoodSlasher wants YOU all to decide who did it better.

Black Sabbath for sure. That lady's face envokes a primal fear in me that I will never understand.
It's the raw, unprepared face of death. Probably the deadest looking thing ever put on film
Black Sabbath granny is pretty terrifying just by her haunting looks and that damned face, but I think the It Follows granny is more terrifying in context and how it invokes fear by using the unknown.
I think the absolutely disturbing image of that rigor mortis face is more frightening than anything that the unknown could make me imagine. Something you can't unsee is worse than never seeing it
Oh man... I guess Bava gets the cake, but the It Follows one was pretty effective.
I'd have to go with Black Sabbath on this one
It follows for sure! The fact that only the main character can see her and doesn't really know what happens if it gets to her. It always knows where she is and is slowly moving towards her no matter where.
Ingrid for sure. Omg that scene is just so unsettling. And the sound track, holy crap!
Been a while nice to see you
I don’t know, pretty sure you can buy the one from Black Sabbath at Spirit Halloween for like $250.
This is difficult! But i guess Black Sabbath should win
These 2 was like Granny from dvloper but a movie. I wonder if the game is based on these 2?
Black sabbath, dah!
Black Sabbath
Both are creepy but black sabbath still gets me
Not comparable. Black Sabbath.
It Follows!
Black Sabbath
~ Harriet Medin (from "Black Sabbath") is positively terrifying.
The slasher still kickin'
