@@FittoSurvive it needs more weight towards the tip to balance the weight, as the back portion with the light/laser pointer/battery is where all the weight is currently. It also needs better grip or knurling, as I find it a bit slippery in use. Those slight changes would make it perfect.
I just bought the nitecore one online. Mostly just for traveling overseas. I received a free tactical pen with a knife I bought and the thing just looks like a weapon. It got me thinking it’d be nice to have something when I can’t carry a gun, or a knife, so I wanted something that just looked like an every day pen.
@F2S I'm sure it's a little late, but if we can ever convince you to do a video like this again, please demonstrate each pen, maybe on regular paper and the waterproof paper we all carry in our EDC. Also demo the SAK pen from the Plus scales! Have a comparison to each one, along with a Sharpie and a normal ballpoint pen? Some of these are awesome to be sure, but write terribly on the paper we all carry every day.
A very nice collection! I like the Bastion as it is ss, & it is hefty...can a Parker refill be used as well?...the #2 would be the Refyne because of its size...may I suggest the ss Parker Jotter? It's old school, but very reliable...for some, the fidget factor is also high...good video!
I swear by Zebra pens, love them! Great writing instruments be it the F-701, X-701, Telescopic with a rubber nub for tablets, F-901, Expandz and Expandz mini (which clips in brilliantly into my wallet) and the F-301! I like that I don’t have to throw the pen away and I can simply use a refill. Incidentally, the Zebra F-901 takes a Parker refill! Overall, great pens!
ive got the first china pen far left, not too bad but soft metal, so the point on the glass breaker wears out easily....also mechanism damaged, but cheap pen tho
Nice selection of pens. To bad many of the name brand pens are from China too. The Rovyon is very interesting but again, I won't buy anything from them. Not only is it a Chinese company they lie to you as well. The last one is my favorite, I like having a light on the pen. Great job reviewing.
most of the pens on the table wouldnt i like because they are to fat for my liking, i use to carry a stainless Parker Jotter with space pen insert just for a reference so you know the size of pen i like.

I like the Gold S&W and the Nitecore in your collection 👍
Thanks!
A jack of all trades is a master of none, but often times better than a master of one
Very true. 👍🏻👍🏻
I really like carrying the olight pen. It writes very nice and has a good light too.
I noticed that the olight does write really well. I wish that it was maybe a bit heavier though?

@@kstogie That is exactly what it needs.

Interesting. I see what you mean

That's a good idea. I didn't think about testing the pens on waterproof paper. And I really should have compared the Victorinox pen too. 👍🏻👍🏻
The best pen to have is one that not only writes important thoughts, but keeps from being stolen!
😅 I guess that is true.
Great pen! Thank you for your review! 👍
Yes, it is. You are welcome.

Thank you! I am not sure if the Parker refill would fit or not, I'd have to test and see. I'll look into the Parker Jotter. 👍👍👍
Yes, it is Parker refill

I have used Zebra pens before. They are actually really great.
I am not keen on tactical style pens as they are too aggressive in looks, but your collection includes some nicer style pens.
Thanks for watching!
Any tactical fountain pen?
I can't say that I have seen one before, interesting... I'll have to search for one out of curiosity.
Yup, James Bond has one that shoots out acid 😉

As long as you don't have high expectations for the pen, it performs as you would expect.
Should check out the gerber pen
Ok, I'll have to take a look at it.

Thank you! Yeah, I remember you commenting about that before.
I love how American call pens, "pins". Always keeps me guessing.
Lol. Good ol' American accent.
Refyne by a mile!
Their pen is super nice.
Yes, and fits perfect in a jeans pocket with deep carry

Yeah, several of these pens are really chunky. The Nitecore NTP31 is pretty slim.
I swear by bic pens. Cheap, cheerful, easy to replace and get a hold of. No need for these fancy pens, as they do the same task.
I can see what you mean. 👍🏻😁
U can't bust a window with a bic pen smh
@@benjibaby7oh282 Good point. (pun not intended but appropriate 😅)
