- Overview of the starting process, removal/install of engine and transmission, and to the operational point where it can be driven. There is still more to do. Canbus controls to use TU/TD shift, cruise control, custom a/c lines, new motor/transfer case mounts because I want the engine to move back 2" more. many small things to do.

Did you keep the ACE hydraulic system with LS engine? OR you have replaced with normal swaybars?
Currently the ACE isn't working I have to make new brackets because I want to keep ace and I want to switch to a gm P/s pump. Currently non working ace. The terrafirma lift kit springs are stiff enough to where I do not feel body roll. When I get back to working on it I hope I will have that taken care of.

awesome video!!! I am currently doing my disco 2 2001. Already have my vortec done. Gonna keep the LR transmission just to get it to work. currently doing research on flexplate that will work with Marks 4x4 adapter kit. waiting on your next vid!!!!!! Also where to get canbus box( the translator).
Thanks! I will using Arduino for canbus translation also its a work in progress. I have to learn how to program it. if you check the forum link there is some more info and another person who has done the Arduino canbus. he has lots of info. do you have a 4l80 or 6l80 transmission? mark 4x4 makes t case adapters. if you have your swap in a forum or own video send a link..

@@TestGarage So I looking to see which flexplate will work with oem LR torque converter. But If I was going to change the transmission I would go with the 6L80.

Did you use a 4L60E trans and GM electronic transfer case? I am in the start phase of mine and wanted to go ACE conversion but they dropped off the face of the earth
im using 6l80 with lt230 case.
Did yo have to get and adaptor to marry the 2 or did it bolt right up? Seems like a very viable option for my build
I used rw-eng transfercase adapter. but if I had to do it again I would go with the marks 4wd adapter kit. @@jefffaust6270

What didn't you like about the RW adapter versus the Mark's adapter kit?
4L60E pan / valve body will not clear the front driveshaft companion flange of the LT230 transfer case. :(
