I am really impressed by the quality of the review. I was looking for detailed tests, not the average review, and I'm glad I found your channel, subbed ! It would be extremely helpful to show a comparison with similar spec chargers in the future to get a bigger picture about the performance of a particular unit . All the best to you !
This was really most sophisticated testing and review of charger I come across and this GAN charger’s are really efficient electronic device after transformer keeping it cool when conversion of energy type.
Very informative review, exactly what I was looking for. Wish you also did comparison videos where you rank different chargers according to some criteria. Similar to what the channel vacuumwars does.
I love the testing done on this channel. Could you please test some car chargers? I need to charge my laptop through USB C in my car sometimes and honestly the specs from the manufacturers are so bad I do not know what to buy
Hey guys, looking forward for more of your reviews, they are the best I've seen so far! I have a couple of suggestions. Could you compare efficiency of GaN chargers with equivalently specked silicon chargers at the same wattage and voltage? Speaking of GaN chargers, there is a UGREEN 65 watt charger(single type c port, square form) named CD217. According to tests from other reviewers, despite really small size it gets barely warm at 65w load(45-50 degrees), so I'm sure it has really high efficiency(IMO higher than GaN x charger from this review). Could you possibly review it? Have been using it for a few weeks now and it's the best charger I've ever had!
Good review. Based on your videos, the ripple result on UGREEN is significantly higher than Apple's 76W charger at the maximum voltage/current. Hopefully you guys can include other charger result when reviewing one charger, like in a chart. Thanks for the videos!
It heats to 87C in +25C environment... Holy cow! What will be the temperature at +45C that is a typical max testing temperature for electronic devices? Will it actually catch fire if you put it under a blanket or some clothes?
I'm thinking of getting one but I'm concerned that in order to get the full 65w charge for a laptop you need to remove the cables in the other ports even if no device is connected to them, which would defeat the convenience of having so many ports. I saw Ugreen saying it would affect the output if the unused cables have a chip in them, such as the Apple cables. But as far as as I know, every cable today has some form of chip in them to regulate power safely. I'd love to know if you get the full 65w charge when only one port is being used even if you have unused cables in the other ports?
good evening, I want to ask which of these chargers do you think is the most worth buying, used to charge a macbook + iphone 13 pro or samsung s22, which has the best PD and Quick Charger capabilities 1. Baseus 65W Gan 3 Pro 2C1A 2. UGREEN nexode 3in1 65W 3. Anker Nano II 65W 735
i am really interested in ripple test, can you give me information about ripple test compare with other similar chargers, is it really good for charger under review? ( for 20v 3A : 72mV is a bit high ?) I think once we have measured the specifications, we need to compare with other chargers Thanks for the really great review
Any comments on durability? I bought one, that stopped working in 2 months, got it replaced, and that broke too and then they stopped replacing it. I now have two useless bricks and a thinner wallet for no good reason at all. I have always been careful and have never dropped the charger. I usually used it to charge my 65W laptop.
Maybe someone can explain this to me: I have two "problems" when using this charger (but the newer pro version). 1. In the case that I only connect my airpods with a 45W slot while using a USB-C to lightning cable, the orange blink (that is a sign for the start of the charging and normally goes off after 5sec) continously blinks randomly. After connecting a second device with the other slot, it charges normally. 2. When I try to charge my vape, it is not charging with the ugreen 100W PD USB-C to USB-C cable. Using the 65W PD USB-C to USB-C cable, it is charging normally. In both cases I expected that the charger and the device can adjust to the needed voltage/wattage (?) and charge normally. Is the difference between the the needed power and the supplied power just too high in my described cases or where's the problem?
@@ChargerLAB there are a few chargers by Baseus with uses Vooc certified chip inside. But these are very rare and i am unable to find it. Mostly those are out of stock.
This is not a performance review, these are just superficial comments about the Ugreen 65W..., a review displays numbers about THD, power factor correction, IDLE consumption, efficiency at various operating stages from 0 to 100% power..., and then we can have a clear idea beyond your personal comments about the quality of the product, sorry but the video is useless, I wasted time watching it.
I know it takes lot of work, but this type of review is what we need more.
Thanks for the support.
I didn't expect this video to be that detailed. Good job :)
Hope you enjoyed it!
Voltage ripple is really low, it looks like a very good quality charger. There must be good filtering going on inside. Excellent review as always.

Okay this has to be the most thorough review of this ugreen charger, liked & subbed

I appreciate this teardown video 💜

I have noticed that some USB PD chargers are missing the 12v 3a standard. Good for Ugreen to include this

Good point. Best to use Apple as the benchmark. So we can kniw what charger is really best.

I'm thinking to buy this. Thanks for quality review. I'm new subscriber.
Thanks for the sub!
I'm in doubt between Baseus 65W and Ugreen 65W. Specs are similar, but Ugreen costs 77% more. Is Ugreen better or is the price just inflated?
Compare to Baseus 65W GaN 3 Pro 2C1A Charger, the components and PCB board quality is it better or slightly lower?
That's lots of details.
You have my subscription mate
we need more detalied tests like this
Thanks.
Yes you are very thorough, keep up the good work!
😢 very thorough but still just to be sure which port will charge my Samsung iphone or Lenovo tablet the fastest
😮 This review is very detailed. thanks …
keep sharing review like this
My pleasure 😊

This was an excellent review, is there going to be a teardown of this as well?
Watched this because i ordered it during the 9.9 sale 🤩

Agree. I think it'd be great if Chargerlab gather these info into a spreadsheet so we can compare it with other chargers as well.
Why can it only provide 44w max to the Apple laptop tested? Is this normal/same as what the original Apple charger does?
Which better model CD224 or CD244? Which one should I buy?
Hello will you do a teardown of this charger?

This is a good test, can you recomend me gan charger 65w thats support super charge 45w infinix?

Wow that is some detailed review. I didnt understand some of it but thanks for the review haha
Glad it was helpful!

Power factor correction is another important aspect. Can you add power factor correction to the test?

I know that you guys won't read this, but can you please review the Ugreen Nexode 45W version? I wanna know why it is so heavy. Thanks.
In fact, we always take note of constructive teardown and review suggestions, and that certainly includes yours!
So should I buy it or no?
Wait, 80 degrees C? Isn’t that really bad?

I bought same charger and 240w charger of same company but my realme gt is not super charging
great review, thank you!
Is it ok that this charger switches QC on and off several times when connecting to a phone?
Can you cover any McDodo charger next?
Is it good choice for Realme GT Master Edition mobile ?
(65w SuperDart ) (orginal charger take 35-40 mint highest)
Please answer
It can only reach 17.5W.
Does it come with a cable??
Will you be reviewing the 100w version of this? Great vid thanks!
We've took it apart: ruclips.net/video/_7opMa-gcro/видео.html
We do not have plan to review 100W yet.
Hi. Can you recommend a charger for my red magic 5g that is neocharge ready?
Are there any teardown for this charger?
@Chargerlab can you please inform a good power brick with multiple ports which support Warp/Vooc protocol. Unable to find it.
Warp/VOOC is OPPO's private protocols, so you must need to find the charger made by OPPO.
@@ChargerLAB there are a few chargers by Baseus with uses Vooc certified chip inside. But these are very rare and i am unable to find it. Mostly those are out of stock.
Is it safe to use this charger for iPhone 15 pro max
PSU for PC should adopt to GAN they can easily get 80 to 90 rating
What about the price tho?
Some of the results I have no idea if it's good or bad
If I charge 2 devices that require 65 watt at once, do both of them get 65 watt?
Combine
This was really good
Now, that's a f*cking review!
HI,WE ARE GAN CHARGER FACTORY.
Can it fast charge s23 ultra at 45 W?
Which one is better ugreen 65w or baseus 65w
Baseus Gan2 Lite 2 Port supports Samsung Qc 2.0 45w while Ugreen 3 port supports only 25w. So it depends if you have a 45w samsung phone or not.
Ugreen charger working for realme c2?
Does it support 65w Xiaomi 13pro?
Thanks you
When will be the teardown?...
Sadly the PPS amps max out at 3A
Does it support vooc
No.
VOOC is OPPO's private protocols, so you must need to find the charger made by OPPO.
Samsung S22 ultra will take 43watts. Add it to your testing arsenal please. S22+ is nothing compared to the ultra.
Can it fast charge my Samsung S20 FE at 45w?
25watts only
চার্জারটা সুন্দর, ধন্যবাদ
i use this, seem to be very hot after use
Where is the teardown????
Wow
Still bigger than mi65 w
I hate devices that have at least one vintage USB A input. God sake please producers dont put type A. Just type C!
Much bigger

65W pff lame.
Who has a < 100W charger?
