Hello, so I found your channel last October while I was recovering from surgery(Brain/cancer), while I was
looking for fabric pots. I have been watching your channel grow. My girl wants more flowers in our life, so you are a inspiration. Thank you. You remind me of her because your both classy ladies. Aloha from Hawaii.

I like to use herbs as fillers. The green always seem to help highlight the flowers. Things like thai basil, oregano flowers, mints, mugwort artemisias & much more.

That’s such a good idea! I think I’m going use some of the flavored mints I have bc they smell so good.

We are on a road trip, and right before we left, I harvested all the flowers! I did not leave them on my front porch, I left them on several of my neighbors' porches as gifts. They were so grateful! Everyone seemed so genuinely touched. I was inspired by your previous bouquet giveaways.
As our trip nears its end, I'm eager to get back to my garden. While it has been great getting away, and my current view can't be beat, there's no place like home! Plus, I hear we've had some severe weather, and my neighbor mentioned my flowers really took a beating.

I’m crossing my fingers and toes that most of your flowers are okay! We’ve had tornado alerts and wind here but luckily plants were just a little droopy, nothing broken.

What a lovely idea. Nice way for me to get my paper crafting and gardening together to put a smile on someone's face. I shall give this a go.

This is a wonderful way to spread kindness by sharing your beautiful flowers! My favorite filler is yarrow. It grows easily from seed and blooms the first year. There are several colors. I like the pastel mix and white. They are also hardy down to zone 3, so they should overwinter in containers.

I need to add yarrow to my garden next year! What are your favorite varieties?

@ChicagoGardener Summer Pastels from Johnny's Seed. I want to try The Pear Yarrow, but they sold out. They have a similar appearance to baby's breath. Thanks for your inspiring videos!

Yarrow! Also, cosmos foliage makes decent filler - I know you’re already growing those, Bethany!

Those bouquets are adorable! I love giving away flowers to nursing homes and friends. It is the best part of gardening. I will have to look for those cute little pudding jars.

I LOVE this idea!! You can always use cosmo leaves as filler, since the flowers don’t last long in the vase (maybe test to see how long the leaves last ). And also, some herbs, like mint, basil and dill as fillers. It will actually adds a nice smell to the bouquets. But again test to see how long they last. Speaking of herbs, I actually found chamomile makes a nice filler as well. In a small garden it’s hard giving up precious space for filler flowers. I totally get the challenge. 😩

I too love to share my flowers & veggies with friends and family❤I wonder if you might consider sharing how you overwinter your Dahlias? Do you buy seeds, tubers or both? Thank you😍

I have a video on my channel showing the process! Basically I cut the stalks off, keep the tubers in the pot, and put it in our garage which stays above 40 degrees.

Love all your bouquets, I do have a question do you just put them in regular water or do you put anything in the water for the flowers?

Hi, God bless you. Do you cut your flowers on an angle when harvesting? Also do you cut then straight when making all the stems the same lenght on a bouquet or do you cut them in angle?
