I grew up without phones or smart phones, we didnt know what was outside our areas, it wasnt as fun as u think, people didnt befriend each other it was like now.people had no choice ,people were bullied but in real and not online.

In those days you spent plenty close to an hour getting yourself dressed up and doing your hair to go out night clubbing, Im so glad I was around the nightclubbing scene in those days of the late 80's to the early 90's

Closer to 2 hours for us girls. Stiletto heels, short skirts, big jewelry, anything sexy with shoulder pads, vogue make-up, and BIG hair (stiff with hairspray). Times were SO different, so much fun but by no means 'innocent'. It felt like things could only get better ... (wrong)
Cool snapshot. Punk was melding into newave and techno with an explosion of big hair, studded pink and white pleather. Good times at the locals. The women looked really good. Now they're covered in tats. I'd take the 70s and 80s back in a heartbeat. Sex and drugs and rock and roll. 💘
Free and fun-loving times. I proudly lived in this era as a teen. No selfies, internet or phones. Real human interaction with strong, gutsy people. No need to be covered in tattoos from head to toe at a young age and have a ring shoved through everything! Millennials and gen Z will never get it. We were made tough as steel and spoke our minds without living in fear. We knew how to party and have Fun without fear or restrictions! Very empowering times.
God takes me back to swinging 80s London club scene. Used to go out Friday and get home Sunday evening. Sometimes used to party till 6am and go straight into work. Euro scene wad far better then the states, the alcohol laws are totally different, clubbing ages different and the music far superior than the US. Love to go back but although being one of the best decades I also lost half of my friends.

Best Decade Ever. Back in the day I was driving an 86 Trans Am, 25 miles to work in Downtown L.A. It was a clothing store with a D.J. playing all the KROQ and Disco while customers were shopping. After closing time my co-workers and I would hit the Clubs in Hollywood like Circus, Rage, and Studio. Great Memories!!!
