Even in the 90s growing up my mom and our street would throw block parties in the summer. My dad would basically DJ the entire thing, he has a massive CD collection and with his home stereo system he’d bring out the speakers. Whenever he put on any disco songs mostly the women (including my mom) would start dancing in the street.
