11 years? When did that start? In 1997 when I bought my Pace enclosed trailer the Dexter torsion axles lasted about 2 months before they had settled down and stuck fully compressed with no suspension at all. Dexter refused to do anything about it so I have been toughing it out ever since. They are like no suspension at all. Now they are bent and the tires are cambered in at the top rubbing on the inner fenders which has about set us on fire a couple times. With the torsion axles if the tongue height isn't just right all the weight will be on the front or rear axle and that overloads the tires. Spreading them under the trailer makes that problem much worse. Even with brand new 10 ply tires I'm blowing a couple tires a year. I am in the process of changing over to leaf spring axles with the load equalizer between the axles so every tire sees the same amount of weight even when going off of curbs or climbing up them. Right now if I drive one tire up on a driveway apron it lifts the rear tires off the ground. If I drive off a driveway the front trailer tires will be hanging putting all the weight on the rear tires. It's the dumbest idea ever.
Shawn is spot on! I purchased a torsion axle trailer for my construction tool trailer. The torsion axles bounced everything around in the trailer. I called and spoke with Dexter and they tried to tell me that I needed to fully load the trailer to max weight to get the better ride quality. When i formed them that I was within 200 pounds of maxed out weight they simply replied that there is no way leaf springs could ride smoother. So I sold it and bought a new trailer with leaf springs and it rides 10 times smoother than the torsion axle trailer.

Luke 24:46-47 Forgiveness of sins is salvation itself. And how does this occur? Jesus makes clear it comes from repenting in His name. God bless you for telling people that God loves them.
