Hiiiii, I’m Portuguese so I thought I could translate what the girl in the minute 1:05 said. “They say that the diference between those that reached they objectives and those that didn’t is that they didn’t stop on the first obstacle. So run after your dreams because you can do anything, except quit. ✨” The last frase is also what she wrote.
50 years ago I attended the Royal Ballet. Margot Fonteyn wore Freed of London pointe shoes so, of course, we all wore them! I could get through them like a crazy woman because I practiced, practiced, and practiced. Then I got hit by an 18 wheeler. What a bummer! 19 years all down the drain. Then I realized that those 19 years taught me self discipline, kindness, the joy of life. So nothing was wasted. I then became a Physician who have treated many dancers. Funny how life can change in one moment. I adore your channel. Thank you for looking after dancers and future dancers of the world. I mean what would life really be like without ballet❤
Yours is an amazing story. I want to hear so much more, so I hope you write a book. Please? Thanks for sharing this part of your story with us. Think about sharing the rest! 🙏
Hii Josephine, I'm brazilian and the girl was saying: "They say the difference between the ones that reached their goals and the ones that don't, is that they didn't stop at the first obstacle." And then she says and writes "Then reach your dreams, because you can do anything, except give up." She's amazing!
I wish I knew Portuguese from Brazil but I guess it’s just a little different from Portuguese that I know. (I’m barely learning Portuguese and it’s only been like a month🥹)
@@Oh_My_Oh_My_Os dois são português, um brasileiro entende tudo que um português fala, e um português entende tudo que um brasileiro fala, apenas muda algumas gírias e algo no modo de pronunciar as palavras, mas ambos são português
@@Luhhlambrecht I know I said that in my comment I mean know I know more than I did before.. the only things that are different is like how you said, pronunciation, and slang👍🏼 (i’m learning European Portuguese)
hey y'all - EDITOR here! yes i have watched titanic yes i edited this at 1am no my brain did not get it at the time yes these videos are as chaotic to edit as they feel LOL pls dont come for me 🥺😂
As a toddler i used to walk around on the tips of my toes after seeing ballet on PBS. My mom put me in dance classes before i was three, because she was worried i was going to hurt myself 😂
I love the dancers in the wild stretching. I was once on a delayed flight with a whole company of dancers, the insane stretches they did while waiting 🤯
For the T Rex costume, it depends on how sweaty you get how well you can see out of it. It’s also battery-powered, so there’s not too much of a cushion.
I'm Brazilian and the girl said "they say the difference between those who got to their objectives and those who didn't is that they didn't stop at the first obstacle, so run after your dreams because you can do anything" and she wrote "run after your dreams. You can do anything" 1:38
I'm just gonna keep asking 😀 U NEED to turn your shop into a Cup Shop for April Fools and do some dead serious cup fitting videos with professional dancers
Myu favorite T-rex ballet video was from a couple years ago. The person was doing exercises at the barre with a class and about halfway through I realized the pianist was playing an adagio version of the Jurassic Park theme.
Ahhh!!! I love the idea of the elastic around the outside of the shoe around the arch!!!! I bet if you have disappearing heels that would work perfectly!!!!
The translation: They say that the difference between the ones that reached their goals and the ones that didn’t, is that they didn’t stop at the first obstacle. So run towards your dreams because you can do everything but give up.
Love your reactions Josephine! I’d love to more about that amazing young lady who was without arms… she seems to have a light and even though I couldn’t understand her, she seemed so positive. And yes, I’m old… I get the Titanic reference!
I dance at ballet west academy and that girl was in the academy last year ( I beleive her name was Olivia) and now she is in ballet west 2 which is part of the company and mostly corpes de ballet
Dear Editor: HOW DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THE TITANIC REFERENCE!??? Okay, freak out over. Where is the answer: During the below deck Irish dancing, Rose goes up on her toes in bare feet
Also 6:24 reminds me of the time when I put like 4 different ballet flats on my feet on top of one another and tried to get on pointe with them and calling the "✨ my home made pointe shoes✨" it did not end up well ..🤣😳
this girl is a Brazilian ballerina and she is saying, "They say that the difference between those who achieved their goals and those who didn't is that they didn't stop at the first obstacle, so chase your dreams because you can do anything but give up." Kisses from Brasil🇧🇷
If no one else has said it, the Titanic reference is when Rose is down with the third class passengers, and their dancing, and she goes en pointe in her stockinged feet... I think.
I speak Portuguese, and so I can translate what the dancer who was writing with her feet said. She said "Run after your dreams, because you can do anything but give up."
I used to be an excellent bal-let dancer. All the spins, kicks, jumps and prancing around on stage was 2nd nature to me. Then I took an arrow to the knee... (Not really. I can't dance to save my life. But I like watching people who can)
I love that you love hiplet! Fusion styles of dance are sooooooo so cool and I adore how it gives people access to dance styles they may be excluded from historically or currently.
This is so hilarious! The first tik tok the people in it go to my dance studio😂😂💀💀🙌🏼🙌🏼 (Edit) Lol I was one of the first ones to see this video and there was a video before the flamingo dancers, idk what happened to the first tik tok 😢
Here I am saying I can't do this and I can't do that and that lovely ballerina can not only dance en pointe, but write beautifully with her feet! Brava!!
I did ballet from 8 until 10 and I quit afterwards. And I am 18 now and had this music stuck in my head from when I did ballet. Who would have thought that I would find it with a t-Rex dancing to it. 😂
I love this. I am a quite versatile dancer I do latin, arg. tango, street latin, hiphop, contemporary , belly dance and musical dance and I can confirm in latin too we go on pointe just without the hard part of the show literally soft sandal dance shoes and we go on pointe it is amazing.
Hi Josephine! I'm pretty sure the toddler girl is the daughter of Royal Ballet principal dancer, Lauren Cuthbertson! Explains how she has amazing turnout at such young young age😄
Stacking pointe shoes and going on pointe is like going on Pointe in clown shoes. We need some of these reactions to be to people on Pointe in tap shoes!
The girl without arms said : The difference between a person who archived their goals and another who didn't is that they didn't stop at their first hurdle
YES!!! I switch between gaynors and freeds!!! Gaynors for corps work and anything that requires mega stability and consistency and freeds for class, pas, and anything I need to feel held in 😂
I took ballet from 7 to 15 and absolutely loved it, I still dance at home and am looking for a replacement shoe. I absolutely love capezio dua toe but can’t find any hidden on eBay what is closest to them
4:59 idk how many times she blinked because im bad at math but i DO KNOW that the sound effect is from omori aka one of my favourite psycho horror rpgs of all time and i know exactly where it is used its used as the selecting sfx when you choose an option, its also used in the menu screen and anywhere with options for what im assuming is continuity AND its one of the cutest sfx ive ever heard in my life and you should play omori aaaa this does not fit the channel at all nor does it even fit the interests of the creators (i assume) but its so good i love it so much oh god i rambled TO ANYONE WHO IS READING THIS GO PLAY OMORI PLEASE ITS SO COOL (if you like psychological horror its even better)
I really with to see you react to sketches by Chords Ballet, a talented Italian group that makes comedy and ballet. They speak Italian, but a lot of sketches are non-verbal.

That is so cute
Oh My God thank you! that's so beautiful.
Thanks
i'm from brazil, the traduction is ok

Ballerina: *literally wearing a T-Rex costume*
Josephine: "Pretty feet"
so true girly
She sells shoes, not dinosaur costumes. ;-)
The baby is Lauren Cuthbertson's daughter! She's a principal at the Royal Ballet, her kid has the genes!
I thought so too!
Reporter, in 20 years time: So... When did you start dancing...
Baby (grown up): Aaaah.... In utero...
yess! peggy! she’s so cuteee. i watched laura in swan lake she was incredible
Why did I think u meant the baby is now the principal 💀💀💀

hey y'all - EDITOR here!
yes i have watched titanic
yes i edited this at 1am
no my brain did not get it at the time
yes these videos are as chaotic to edit as they feel LOL
pls dont come for me 🥺😂
You are our hero ❤
You are more than forgiven! 😅 All you do is truly appreciated! 💙
You made me feel OLD!!! Who DOESN'T remember Kate Winslet going up en Pointe after dancing in the third class lounge??
✨👁✨👄✨👁✨
I feel like the series is the downward spiral of Josephine’s sanity
5his is how everyone watches these videos. She's just more comfortable being her silly self.

My favorite part of the day, watching Josephine suffer while watching TikTok

It’s the scene when Rose goes to steerage with Jack and goes on point without shoes “so you think you’re big tough men? Let’s see you do this”. 4:11
If all the dinosaurs were as light on their feet as Rex-meralda was, they probably could've outrun that meteor
I'm just gonna keep asking 😀
U NEED to turn your shop into a Cup Shop for April Fools and do some dead serious cup fitting videos with professional dancers
PERFECT
I want to see it but I think she s=won't because she's worried about messing up their feet or something lol I'm not a ballerina

I wouldn't have thought Josephine was old enough to get the Titanic reference. 😆😆
Ditto about the girl w/out arms, want to see more of her!
I love watching Josephine's well being slowly fade during these videos
Guys, I thought Josephine was permanently broken after that one TikTok with the cups. I can't. 😂
I dance at ballet west academy and that girl was in the academy last year ( I beleive her name was Olivia) and now she is in ballet west 2 which is part of the company and mostly corpes de ballet
I don't and will never be interested in ballet in more than an "oh pretty" way, but I've been following you for a while and these videos give me life.
In Irish dance, we actually will tie our laces under our arches in our ghillies (soft shoes) like at 2:00
the way the hiplet dancers shoes matched her skin tone gorgeously omg
OMG I’m an adult figure skater and I have a friend who does a program in ice shows in the blow up Dino costume 😅 it’s HILARIOUS 😂
Love your reactions, Josephine! The babies are just too cute. And yes, I get the Titanic reference.
Dear Editor: HOW DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THE TITANIC REFERENCE!???

"dancers in a car" reminded me VISCERALLY of bus twister, the way high school colorguard people amused ourselves en route to wherever we were going xD
the dino dancing in the end just made my day 😭😂
If no one else has said it, the Titanic reference is when Rose is down with the third class passengers, and their dancing, and she goes en pointe in her stockinged feet... I think.
Ok... I cannot dance. AT ALL! 🤣 But I ABSOLUTELY loved this video despite having no clue how I got here! Thankyou!
The translate of the Brazilian tiktok is: Follow your Dreams, you can do anything, except give up. Love your channel ❤️ Love from brazil 🇧🇷
I speak Portuguese, and so I can translate what the dancer who was writing with her feet said. She said "Run after your dreams, because you can do anything but give up."

wish me luck!
I love these TikTok reactions. Thanks for making me laugh today 😅.

OMG the day has finally come where THE JOSEPHINE reacted to my video :') 2:45
I have no connection to ballet at all and yt randomly recommended one of your videos and now I live for these reactions
I have never done ballet, I don't dance at all really, why am I so addicted to these? 😂
same!
It's the cups… ;-)
Hi Josephine! Maybe sometime you can come to PA! There are many talented dancers here!❤❤❤
Here I am saying I can't do this and I can't do that and that lovely ballerina can not only dance en pointe, but write beautifully with her feet! Brava!!
i just did the nutcracker in dead shoes this was exactly what i needed 😭
Love the scene from Pterodactyl Pond. It was quite touching. The tambourine was on toe-tally pointe! 😋
0:51. Imagine how many foot cramps she gets💀😰
I did ballet from 8 until 10 and I quit afterwards. And I am 18 now and had this music stuck in my head from when I did ballet. Who would have thought that I would find it with a t-Rex dancing to it. 😂
6:38 nahhh Rex Meralda had me dying on the floor that dinosaur has a better turnout than me 😂❤

Hi Josephine! I'm pretty sure the toddler girl is the daughter of Royal Ballet principal dancer, Lauren Cuthbertson! Explains how she has amazing turnout at such young young age😄
Every dancer should know the amount of time she blinked because of counting people's spotting 😂😂😂
Stacking pointe shoes and going on pointe is like going on Pointe in clown shoes. We need some of these reactions to be to people on Pointe in tap shoes!
These videos bring me so much joy
Yes, the Titanic reference! I was thinking the same thing before you said it!!! LOL
how does the armless girl even put her shoes on?! wow what she does is incredible!
the dead silence in the studio at the rex-merelda clip is almost funnier
This made me laugh so hard that I cried
Thanks for a good start to my new year
I will never get tired of these videos XD
"flamingo" LOL I adore you so very very much!
I’ve actually done pointe work in converse high tops. For a ballet made for our company called “suite for high tops”
I love your videossss!!!
I love the dinosaur one, she was very graceful

Yay!!!! I’m so excited this series is continuing
In france, the two main point shoe brands (and in fact ballet supplies in general) are Bloch and Merlet. Just a little info in case you didn't know.
We need an episode of just baby ballet tiktoks
Can we jut talk about the fact that her foot writing is better then my hand writing.
That baby’s is gonna be an amazing little ballerina for sure
