{Echoey} Metroline Enviro 400 MMC Hybrid gets Floored up to Top Speeds on Rail Rep

- Trying its hardest to keep the flow of hybrids featuring on the channel alive we have a Metroline Enviro 400 MMC Hybrid, one of a batch of just 16! Alongside its Loud Exhaust, casual from an early-built Hybrid MMC. This particular TEH has a very nice sounding echo to it when it reaches speed, which I think sounds sick! Similar to TE1098s video if you’ve watched! And there are a good few areas in this video where you can hear it very well. And for those who did watch the most recent Cab POV video, this is indeed the same recording of the same bus!
Enjoy the video!

Another amazing video as always 💪
💪🏾
these sound really good, especially with the exhaust, keep it up!
Yeah they're pretty sick for a hybrid!
Always like the g2s when they were floored but this e400mmc really sounds amazing
Facts!
Some LOUDD whoosh Echos there! I wish i could drive these everyday🥲
Would be a blessing if they swapped garages 😍 W routes don’t give them the road they need!
Nice Journey with a good bus you had
Indeed 💨

Wooshhhh 😎

In Sheffield not too far from me Stagecoach Yorkshire has the older E400 Hybrids. Unreliable and some of them have had huge battery fires. The only plus side i see of these is that they don't overrev.
It’s really a mixed opinion, and the main factor is obviously fuel efficiency, emissions and whatnot, generally hybrids spend their time revving quite low/idling, especially in town/city areas. They do a better job for the environment than a standard diesel bus. Being serial hybrids as well, they’re not built for intercity/long-distance trips, so if that’s what they’re doing in Yorkshire I wouldn’t be surprised about their health. Constant Regenerative Braking plays a good part in them buses
feature a metrodecker trust 🙏🏽
If the opportunity comes I’ll take it but I won’t chase one 😂👀
@@Frozzles yh it sounds like a more powerful hydroliner
you get really loud engines on 112 which has E200s
They use the same engine
@stearmaster6.756 they dont sound the same to me though
@@T_vEg stand them still and rev them both and you will be able to hear it
Same engine, ones a 210hp variant whilst the others the standard 180. Need to take into account the 210hp variant is only there as a generator to charge the HV battery, whilst the 180hp in the E200s are used the ‘normal’ way (so they’ll have their slight differences component-wise).
Other factors, such as exhaust position, mouldings due to different bodywork all count to what you’ll hear inside the bus.
@@Frozzles can’t forget about them stop-start injectors too😉
E40H ain’t no other way 💨💨🔂
