As many of you know I can not stand Black wheels. I just like the look of chrome, polished and satin wheels. I also wanted a little bigger set for the patina 54 Chevy. I tried the 20x8 torque thrust wheels from my slammed 52 chevy 3100 on it and loved the look. While I wanted to buy the torque thrust 2s, I decided that since I already had them on two other cars I should change it up a little. I decided on a wheel that look similar. This wheel is a ridler 695 with a gray center. Fronts are 18x8s and ther rears are 20x8.5. I thought the gray would look good with the patina on the car. I also didn't want to use spacers but the rear end in the 1954 was too narrow as it was a 2wd S10 rear end. The spacers or adaptors are hubcentric and ride great with no vibrations. Titan wheel spacers are great quality. I absolutely love the new look and like the staggered Ridler set up.

Correct, wheels make car. In 1977 I had a work car, 67 Belair 4dr, 6 3 on tree. My buddy totaled his 72 Malibu SS, i took his wheels and tires and boy what a difference!

I've been using wheel spacers for 8 to 10 years never had a problem, I do use blue loctite but never had any issues, love the channel

During the video i was thinking man that rake isnt doing it lol maybe another 1" in the rear would be perfect, and you realized the rear needed to be lower also!!

I just had my check engine light on. I put the scan tool in and it said p0308. I exchanged the ignition coil from number 8 with number 6. And I took number 8 sparkplug out and cleaned it. Looks ok. 2000 Chevy Tahoe 5.3 not sure what it is. Maybe a fuel injector. Hopefully nothing in the engine. I also have the Chevy lean on the driver side hopping it's just the shocks. Your new wheels look nice. Way better

I wasn't really feeling the whole car. But damn new shoes on that car makes all the difference. I didn't catch it if u said it but is that like a satin finish? It really matches the dull chrome just right. Great channel keep it up

Not bad, not bad. DEFINITELY better than what was on it but I was shocked how much I liked the TT wheel on the front. I know you said you didn't want it on everything but personally I like the look/size just a couple "mmmmphs" more lol I might've done all 20s in a grey TT. I know lol Looks good though!

Take the spacers off and put some grey centered torq thrust on now that you know what will fit.
That rear wheel with 2.5” more lip would look killer.
They are special order and would not match the front

Just an fyi. The S10 ZR2 rear axle is 3" wider than standard S10 rear and has the G80 limited slip with disc brakes.👍👍
Right. This is a 2wd and I needed the 4wd not the zr2 as it's too wide.

It definitely looks better with the new wheels and tires. Since you were buying new wheels, why not use wheels on the rear with less backspacing to eliminate the need for the spacer? You would have more lip in the rear.

Insanely hard to do so. It's not a standard 5x100 or 5x114.3 bolt pattern. It's I believe 5x4 makes it harder to find wheels for and most chevys don't have stupid low back spacing usually it's like 2 or 3 inches

Hey I know this video is not on the trans am but I was wondering about your lift. I would prim6use it to work on the TA not storage. What would you recommend for a lift. 2 post vs 4 post. I know that for a lot of things I would have to take the wheels off so I would think a 2 post might be better. Just want to know your opinion and experience on work on the TA with the 4 post. I would be making a garage specificly to work on the TA so the concrete would not be a factor. Thanks for your help.

I have the 1953 chevy 210 and want to put on the same wheels you have. Do I have to do anything different. Do I need to have the spacers. I have drum breaks. What are the offsets?
